We weren’t near many restaurants or bars

The location was perfect and the staff was far beyond expectation.

Breakfast wasn’t good, the only hot food was eggs. Items not replenished. Not much fruit. Room very dark.

Property clean and tidy. Perfect position for exploring Carcassonne and close enough to transport links

The room was a little cramped. No carpet on floor. Washbasin plug would not release.

4 nights in Carcasonne (1 night to many!) - great location and friendly staff - hotel very much a budget offering and could do with some TLC

Great location, perfectly situated in between the old and new city! Beautiful stroll through the new city ( which is about 800 years old) will take you from the gare to the hotel. From the hotel, an awesome walk over the vieux pont will take you to the old city and the chateau comtal. Keep in mind, rooms are very small and so are the bathrooms. But it is well kept and clean. Dont expect a lot amenities in the room. But there is hot water available in the lobby. The hotel over looks the pretty Gambetta Square and is a stone's throw from the Art Gallery which is free.

Well located hotel between the medieval town and the modern town,breakfast was simple , but nice.It should be noted that the bedrooms are very small,and only really suitable for a short stay.We would like to thank the exceptional staff ,who helped us by sorting out an urgent travel situation .....we very much appreciate them going the extra mile to help us ...

As you would expect from IBIS, a no frills room but the bed was comfortable and the air-con worked.

Staff were excellent and very helpful. Breakfast was excellent. Room a bit compact but had all that was needed. Behind was a bit grim and the eating out area could do with landscaping. We would go again.

The staff were friendly and attentive. We had a couple of problems with our room but everything was soon addressed. Breakfast was basic but plentiful. The hotel is centrally placed and close to the airport shuttle bus.

Small room, the bed was very comfortable and we had a view of the medieval city from a room at the back of the hotel. Air con did not work, had been switched to heat only, so we found the room very warm. Staffe werevery friendly and helpful during our stay, and breakfast was good. Good room for the price and very near downtown

Very good hotel in city center near atractions.

The hotel is located in front of a park and has close proximity to the town with plenty of restaurants and shopping opportunities. It is walking distance from the ancient walled city grounds. The hotel breakfast is very good and you can eat indoors or on the outdoor patio. It is a great spot and I would stay there again.

Great place to stay. Close to the old city, restaurants, and parking place a block away at very reasonable price.
