Overall it was a great stay. The rod of the blinds in the room was broken and it remained broken during my stay even I told the staff right after check-in.

The Halliburton is a unique hotel located in an excellent location, a short walk to the Halifax Waterfront with many restaurants, coffee shops and pubs nearby. The room was clean and spacious with an elevated bed (had its own step stool so wouldn't recommend that for anyone with mobility issues) but it was very comfortable. The bathroom was immaculate and the towels and linens were excellent. There is limited free parking in the back of the building which I used daily and some street parking that is free after hours. Overall, I had an enjoyable stay and do recommend it for the price, free parking and proximity to the waterfront.

Very cute old building. Nice to have free parking and a decent-sized room with wet bar and mini fridge. We enjoyed the option to buy a happy hour drink in the library. Would definitely come back.

This is a charming hotel in a historic building, well located for walking around downtown Halifax... I enjoyed the Happy Hour in the library- surprised that more gursts don't take advantage of it.

This was our first stay at the Halliburton but definitely won’t be the last. This quaint little boutique hotel surpassed our expectations. The location can’t be beat! The room was beautiful and the beds and bedding were top notch. We enjoyed a lovely drink in the library before heading out to the theatre. Looking forward to our next visit to Halifax and the Halliburton

Very nice old charm room (standard with queen bed and mantle). Bathroom is on the small side and no vanity to hold your things. Continental breakfast available for $15 p/p. Free parking in back of hotel (which is hard to come by in city). Lots of stairs to get to our room on third floor (no elevator). Did not like that our room was also in a building (they own three buildings) separate from the reception desk, library and restaurant area.

Great boutique hotel in downtown Halifax slightly away from the hustle and bustle. 10 minute walk to central downtown makes for a quiet night sleep. Friendly staff, easy check in, good sized rooms, comfortable bed and free parking makes for a great combination. Would recommend and will return.
