It was a good enough hotel

I enjoy using Thon Hotels because they have everything I want i.e. a nice bed, a shower with good pressure, a clean room and a decent breakfast. I got all four on my visit. This hotel is very close to Majorstuen, which is a bit of a transport hub, with frequent trams, buses and trains servicing the area. It's also within walking distance of Vigelund Sculpture Park and Frognerbadet. My one quibble - and it is a very minor one - is that the television in the room was temperamental and twice I had to speak to staff about it not working. It took a dozen or so efforts just to get it to finally show the Live TV menu and then it would only show one channel, which happened to be Danish. Very frustrating. It didn't spoil my trip and I would definitely recommend this hotel, which is a short tram ride from the centre of the City.

The hotel sign was a bit hard to find. Other than that, Everything was Excellent.

The breakfast is better than anything I have seen in North America so far!

The hotel was wonderful. Clean and spacious rooms accomodated our needs. The breakfast buffet was OUTSTANING. Fresh and hot food with a great variety to choose from.

I stayed here with my family while visiting Oslo. We really liked the design/decor of the hotel. The buffet breakfast was great. It's located on a street with plenty of shopping and restuarant options. It only takes 15 minutes by tram to get to the downtown/waterfront area and the trams run continuously.

Clean and pleasant. No parking

The hotel Staff at front desk were excellent. So very helpful. Room was nice and clean. I do hope we can get back to Norway again. So beautiful.

Position on lovely street with easy access to tram and good dining options; close grocery store. Great breakfast and room was good size for family of 4. Was rather hot for our stay so room & breakfast area was bit warm as no a/c. Otherwise excellent!

I booked a single room, and although it was quite small, I was out all day, so it was perfectly fine just for sleeping. If you’re traveling to Oslo in the summer and have trouble sleeping when it’s bright, you should definitely bring a sleep mask, even though there were blinds. The breakfast was very tasty, and the staff were super friendly and polite.

Good stay, good location

The staff was excellent. Special shout-out to Marielle. The included breakfast buffet was quite good. Ofc the rooms are tiny but comfortable overall.
