This hotel needs a lot of help. Very outdated and lots of dirt and stains in hallways, bathroom, bedroom etc. Our bathtub had water leaking from spout which would not stop. The lady at the front counter, Jenn, was very friendly and helpful. However the lady that works the breakfast area was very grumpy and snapped at people if they did not know how to work something. She did not seem happy with her position. The beds were comfortable, but sheets were stained. No, we would not stay here again.

This is our go to place when visiting Tobermory and Sauble beach. Great stay with breakfast.

The room was very clean and tidy. Felt very comfortable and welcoming. There was construction happening due to renovations, but that didn’t take away from my pleasant stay. I enjoyed my stay at Quality Inn

The front desk made a significant error and requested a credit card to cover the room charge. Insisting my card was declining and that I had not paid. I advised them that Hotels.com had pulled the funds on Sep 16 and the room was paid. They insisted I was wrong and that I had to contact Hotels.com to find the payment and so in order to check in they pulled another payment! I later found out that the check in person, pulled the wrong booking up and that is why I was 'declined'. They had the wrong customer profile all along. It was a horrible experience.

Check-in was great and front desk personnel very friendly and helpful. Continental breakfast was also convenient and good. Hotel facilities are quite dated but hotel was quiet at night and appreciated fridge and microwave in room. Location is very poor. No restaurant in hotel (except for breakfast) and no restaurants close by. Have to drive everywhere. Construction on road outside hotel was difficult to navigate and slowed traffic considerably because only one way in and out of hotel. Would have been helpful if hotel had advised of this at time of booking because it ended up taking several attempts to find a way into the hotel when we arrived.

It was bad experience ever. We booked the room with a king size bed, and when we got there, the room hadn’t been cleaned at all and was a total mess. The reception told there was only one room with king size bed and the cleaning staff had already left, so she couldn’t do anything. At the end moved us to a room with two separate beds. but the sheets and blankets still not clean.

Location

While not the fault of Quality Inn, the construction in the area made it difficult to walk and explore some of the area. Other than the construction, the hotel team members were extremely welcoming and kind and the accommodations were great.

Staff were lovely & helpful. Room bright clean lots of west light. Good parking. Road construction loud lobby tired. Breakfast good selection hot & cold food. Well located to downtown. Convention centre shopping Tims. Room were not very soundproof. Good place for families w kids. Pool seemed popular. Exterior clean. Lots of hot water & towels.

Some facilities are not available due to construction.

The staff working were so kind! Also a bonus that the hotel is pet friendly. Would stay again.

Clean room, windows that open. Stuff at the front desk was nice but the process was slow. The third party booking can help by requesting more information from the guest in the booking on line application that hotel front desk can use it. It will speed up the check in process

The rooms were nice and clean. The hotel was under renovation but it was still a great stay

My recent experience as a single mom with two kids was challenging to say the least. There is no elevator in the hotel,which isnt a deal breaker,but with two kids under 5 it was a sweatier experience. I have stayed at other hotels that are pet friendly and never experienced dog hair in a room like I did during this stay. My children have terrible allergies to animals and there was so much dog hair. The cleaning staff did try to clean the couch in the room for us,but it was all over the bed spread too and we ended up having to move rooms. The third floor is free of animal hair. Matthew at the front desk was absolutely amazing. He definitely goes above and beyond for the hotel. He quickly made a room change for us among balancing the very large sports groups that were staying at the hotel and our stay ended on a positive note. The breakfast staff worked very hard at keeping up with all of the growing teenagers that were staying at the hotel. If you have allergies,be sure to request a pet free room during your stay.
