Great reception and super helpful staff. They helped us get our luggage up to the room and very very communicative ahead of time about the lifts being temporarily out. Also gave us excellent advice for parking. Feels like we got an absolute steal staying here.

This hotel is in the perfect location to explore Bath. The staff are incredibly helpful and polite and we loved our stay here as a family. The hotel is currently undergoing renovations, but this did not impact on our stay at all. The bar area is really welcoming and breakfast was delicious. Great stay

This was our second visit and the refurbishment is coming lovely the rooms are amazing, service and everything should be 10 stars not 5 it was the best trip every little detail was perfect and in the beautiful city of bath what more can you want and can’t wait for the spa section of the hotel to be finished

Beautiful little boutique hotel! Renovations are still ongoing but has no impact on the stay. Alex, the greeter, was full of valuable information including history and restaurant recs. Would absolutely stay here again!

Disappointed

We just adored our stay here. We had a lovely new room. Our room was lovely, and the breakfast tasty. Staff were so helpful. I’m smitten with Bath and will return to the Francis. You can not beat this location.

Loved this hotel! Very easy check-in despite some miscommunication between their system and Expedia, and lovely room. Would definitely stay again.

We’ve stayed here several times.p and always been very happy. Our room was recently updated and was very good, the building work was ongoing, but didn’t disturb us. It did mean the small car park was closed, but public parking is within a few minutes walk.

Very good hotel, recently renovated

Our newly renovated room was amazing, but it was super difficult to come and go. The construction workers lectured us about walking down the hallway to our room. We had to arrive and exit through the back alley way through a construction zone. We even had to carry out our luggage through the back alley way when we left. The construction workers would wake us up at 6:00 a.m. banging right outside our room. It was awful. I understand and appreciate remodeling, but I don’t want to pay to be in the middle of it!
