Great location for Piece Hall Halifax. Not too far away. Hotel is a little tired and there are some strange smells in certain areas. Room was very clean of a little dated. Bed linen spotless but half duvet and half sheet was a little strange.

Lovely Hotel, friendly staff and comfy beds, would definitelg stay again.

Absolutely brilliant stay, brilliant for the kids, stayed two nights and sad to leave.

The toilets at Reception are disgusting, both cubicles & urinals. Urinals were either out of order or draining slowly to the point where they overflow! Hedges in car park need cutting back as they impede on car park spaces. Beds extremely uncomfortable with soft mattresses. It felt like sleeping on a bouncy castle. The amenities in the room were awful, not even a pack of biscuits. Hugely over priced at £217 per night when the facilities are awful!

The initial impression was very good and everything was clean and comfortable, but some small things were irritating. There was only poor quality instant coffee in the room and no herbal teas (would have liked peppermint and/or camomile at least). There were no signs to the pool (and regrettably I didn’t get round to asking). I ate in the bar once but was disappointed. The fish pie was stodgy - more mash than fish or sauce - and nowhere near enough vegetables. There were very few TV channels accessible - not even decent news.

Very nice modern hotel. Comfortable bedroom, great facilities (swimming pool & Gym) Good breakfast with plenty of varieties.

A definite need to come back here again 🎈

As always the room, breakfast and staff were great. Unfortunately the pool was closed, the main reason we choose the hotel. It would have been nice to know before arrival which I think is reasonable as this would entail an email. We pay a premium to stay with this brand of hotel so expect a little more from them.

Lovely hotel and ideally situated for where we were visiting.

Booked last-minute and what a pleasant surprise! Room was spacious and comfy with a great view. Warm and friendly greeting from all the staff. Clean gym and pool area...what more do you want for a family treat after camping?!

Had to pay again at reception as card had been declined. My bank statement shows payment £75.01 taken out 21/02/25 by Expedia HOTELCOM72 CD 6889, would like a refund otherwise would have given top marks to all.

This hotel was lovely to stay in, the food was nice the rooms were clean and staff were lovely, it’s a shame the swimming pools wasn’t open but other then that was a nice stay.

I stayed for one night as I was attending a family function nearby. I like Holiday Inn properties. Consistently clean and comfortable and an excellent breakfast. This Hotel was even better than some in the group. I will stay here again.

Decent, but gym tiny

This is an average hotel but in a great location for work as close to where I needed to be. Service at bar was below average as young barmaid would rather chat to other members of staff than serve me.

Lovely hotel. Brilliant staff. Lovely breakfast. Swimming pool was a real bonus. Would definitely go again
