The property overall was very clean; it was easy to get to from the airport 25-minute cab ride 630 pesos. Food was amazing and staff was super friendly too. I would like to say a massive thanks to Isis who made sure we had an amazing room. Vania was amazing, she was the person who had all the answers. She gave us amazing suggestions about places to see and go. Eloy was as well super helpful and super nice. Our overall time was incredible; it is a great place to re-set and recharge. Thank you Emporio!!

Staff is great and helpful! Nice location on the beach! Gets loud in the evenings. Lots of families...we love Emporio.

Breakfast was very good and meals tasted good to eat. Bedroom beds are very comfortable and clean room! Swimming pool area very clean. Staff was very friendly!

A great room with a wonderful ocean view.

Staff are fantastic. My ocean view room was on the corner so had 2 windows with 2 different views. An older hotel but has been updated. Remember this is a Mexican hotel and the majority of guests are Mexican families. That is what I like about it but others not so much.

Upon entering Hotel Emporio Ixtapa in February, I sadly missed seeing Abigail at reception. She is truly a treasure of an employee who always greeted me and welcomed with a smile and enthusiasm on my many visits to this hotel. She was an exemplary employee who took the extra effort to offer me and many guests attentive service and a positive, energetic interaction and she will be sorely missed. In spite of this and other recent changes at the hotel, including price increases in the buffet breakfast and parrillada dinners, I managed to thoroughly enjoy my stay. I received excellent attention when I dined three times at the Arrecife restaurant from Capitana Angeles and the wait staff. The ocean view room never disappoints with spectacular views and cool air conditioning to go along with the very comfortable king-sized bed. I return to this hotel because of the staff members who have a very good attitude and I always feel at home when I stay here. I also enjoy the central location and proximity of local shopping, market and bike rental store options. The staff did an incredible job in dealing with a tense couple of days after the assassination of Mencho, the narco leader, and the impact the shutdown had on blocked highways and a complete countrywide shutdown of services, transportation and a stay in place order for tourists. The staff is to be commended on their flexibility of finding alternative transportation to arrive at work and providing timely updates to guests.

Nice place. Wish it was quieter. Too noisy all of the time, and until late every night. Exhausting.

The room was ultra clean and impeccable service from our housekeeper. Fresh towel and flower arrangements every day and amenities replaced only when required, which was good to see. Hotel staff were extraordinarily friendly and accommodating. Only two concerns. 1. The NOISE was over the top! Unnecessarily LOUD music at the pool, all day, every day. I can see during aquacize or other group gatherings, but not all day every day. Also, very loud music in the lobby seating area all day! There is no quiet place to sit and read or have a conversation. I had several days when I had to leave because of headaches. 2. The food has declined somewhat since last year. The quality and service was inconsistent. We found the coffee bar in the lobby had the only decent coffee. We would love to return next year, but unless these concerns are addressed we may look elsewhere. Gracias to all the lovely staff. We appreciate your hard work ❤️

The staff was friendly and obliging. Especially Hector who was so kind and courteous and spoke with us every day (except his day off) He made us feel very comfortable. And our room was always clean and neat with special effects thanks to Patricia. Loved the flower and towel "art" ! The only negative things were that one day a gentleman who was clearly a guest entered our room with his card key. I was there at the time but if I had not been there he may have been able to steal everything. This was unsettling. The desk cancelled all cards to our room and all was good but it should not have happened. When someone goes to the desk to get their card reset they should have to prove they are registered to that room! I wish we could have extended our stay by 2 days after the unrest situation of Feb 22 but they were unable to accommodate us. We found alternate accommodation for those 2 nights.

Beautiful location with attentive staff. Saul, a senior manager went above and beyond. Restaurant was very good. There was some language issues but, for the most part, it all went smoothly.

Room was very clean. Staff were very courteous. Quite noisy at night music or events seemed to go to at least 1am every night. Compared to other properties on the strip it it appears to be loud almost 24 hours a day. Maybe not the ideal property for seniors which we are.

It is clean, comfortable beds and pillows, and super friendly staff. And great location, plenty of beach chairs.
