Great breakfast. Staff was excelente,rooms a Little outdated.

The room was clean and very comfortable, and the staff was friendly and helpful. Best of all was the amazing breakfast. There was something for everyone's tastes!

Arrived extra early and hotel was able to provide an earlier check in than expected.

Se percibe que el hotel ya tiene sus años. Al llegar al aeropuerto, identificamos a un colaborador con un rótulo de Barceló. Me acerqué y me indicó que no había servicio de traslado disponible y que debía buscar otra alternativa para llegar al hotel, ya que el servicio era exclusivo para otro pasajero. Lamentablemente, no hubo mayor amabilidad ni proactividad para ofrecer alguna alternativa o ayuda. Aparte de eso todo ok.

Excellent hotel, located centrally but you do have to UBER to places. Not walkable. The premium level is worth is for coffee and snacks as well as a few drinks. Great service every where. Will come back when visisting the city.

Need better mattres

Great place to stay in Central Guatemala City. Close to the airport and the shuttle is part of their customer service. Don’t miss the morning buffet, it is incredible.

The blackout curtains in the room wouldn't shut completely so sunlight would pass through. Not a big problem but checked in at 3am for a flight leaving at 9am.. would of liked to rest in total darkness.

We enjoyed our 2 nights stay at Barcelo Guatemala City. Delicious breakfast with comprehensive spread. Nice pool and poolside area for hanging out. Good dining options although they appear quite expensive and we did not try any of them. Rooms were nice and clean with good amenities.

Service is excellent and everything is clean plus the breakfast buffet very good and a lot variety. Thanks for everything we will be back soon hopefully

We loved this property. Almost everything about it was great. I say almost because both my husband and I got seriously ill either from eating the food there or by consuming the bottled water, or both. We drank bottled water but felt that somewhere something went wrong with the food. My husband usually never gets ill. I have a sensitive stomach and I decided to eat some raw vegetables the first night that I got there. I usually don't even brush my teeth with tap water when I travel to other countries. I always use bottled water and I did so on this trip. So the only thing that I can say we did wrong was possibly eating the raw vegetables or maybe eating at the buffet. I was sick for days after returning back to the US. But again, the hotel was amazing and so were all of the staff members.
