The rooms were gross, not clean mold all over the shower and no hot water.

Room was very dirty…. Black fingerprints on patio doors, remnants left in the toilet, skittles under the bed, blow dryer non functioning, iron won’t hold water, leaks all over clothing and freezer had so much ice frozen inside not to mention ORANGE ice nothing would fit in freezer portion. Front desk staff on check in day said they would get maintenance and rectify concerns. False, that staff member left without informing their replacement. Nothing was rectified. And hotel had the audacity to blame Expedia!

Room was disgusting, hair in sink, dirty tub, the bed smelled like body odor. Pillows all smelled like they were never cleaned. Staff and manager done nothing to accomodate me or offered to change rooms. By far worse hotel I have stayed ever in my decades of traveling. I ended up sitting on the chair and try to fall asleep. Worst night ever. Worse of all I had the hotel reserved for 4 nights and wanted to check out the next day and was told by staff that I was checked out later to find out that the manager refused to check me out. The manager who is NEVER on site and I emailed and left messages numerous times never replied. They did not even offer me to change rooms. Once they have your money they ignore you. Trust me stay down the road at other hotels with friendly staff and most important they clean their rooms. The Days Inn Barrie has taken my money and even after I handed my keys to checkout and having NO access to the room charged me my entire reservation. The staff even lied to my face and said that they offered me a replacement room which was a total lie. She offered me to have house keeping clean my room the following day which was ignorant. Just writing this and thinking of the disgusting room my skin is crawling.

This place is an absolute dump. The beds were full of blood and pee stains. Do not stay here. The refused to do anything about it! They told me they will have the cleaners come the next day. I was only there for the night. It was discussing!!

pool was way too cold to even use and hot tub didn’t work which is the main reason why i book this hotel. overall wouldn’t recommend.

Clean rooms, bathroom needs a bit of an update.

The curtains in my room were broken, there was an electrical outlet with no cover plate (thank goodness I didn’t have my kids) the trim was falling off and the towels and bedding were yellow. The staff were friendly.

Nice hotel but guests are smoking to the left and right of the front entrance and throwing their cigarette butts on the ground, management needs to change this!

Hot tub was down. Pool was cold, but all in all, it was a great stay for the price you pay, it's worth it.

Breakfast qas good but very tight space. People shoild not be allowed to smoke where main entrance. Cigarette butts in piles near front door

Pool was closed for like 3/4 days Was a bummer as it was so hot and one of main reasons we stayed and when we asked oh waiting for someone say it’s ok to open

It was a good price while looking at the pictures. However, once we arrived, we noticed that a the property was not very maintained. Once we went into our room, we saw that the room was not in proper condition. The washroom was honestly the worst for me. The bottom of the shower was all yellow and the shower curtain did not seem clean. Holes in the walls big enough for potential critters and mice. Half of the towels seemed unclean with stains. We ended leaving after the first night there.

Clean, convenient, comfortable, and affordable.

Worth staying for the price!

The staff were awesome. The breakfast was good. With respect to the building, it’s an older building and our room was in need of a lot of TLC. Very old bathroom, the room door does not close automatically, you really need to push it to close, and push hard to open, and the mattresses, well overdue to be changed. It was clean though.

Wi Fi is too complicated for guests. Used the Exact password as provided and only got error messages. Had to take my laptop to the front desk to get it straightened out.
