Hotel does not have elevators. This did not affect me but will people who have wheel chairs or heavy suitcases. Hotel floor was loud. Did not get any sleep during my six day stay. So loud. It’s not worth staying here, especially paying $128 per day. I recommend going somewhere else. Foyer smells. The front entrance at check in smells very very bad. Amenities and room cleanliness is good. Staff is good. Beds comfortable. Parking is good. Included. But you can hear everything through the room. Breakfast not included. There’s a Chinese restaurant next door. This place was good five years ago but not good anymore. I don’t recommend this place.

I found the front staff to be disinterested in their job. Check in was slow as heck and i was the only one checking in at the time . At 3am i could hear someone talking loudly i thought it was just thin walls. When it was still going on at 4am i looked out my door and a female was sitting on the floor talking to someone on her computer using earbuds . I guess instead of disturbing someone in her room she felt it would be better to sit in the hall and disturb everyone. She did move to another part of the floor when I said something . When i checked out at 4:30am i mentioned it to the guy at the front desk his response was “ i told her to go back to her room but she wont , there’s nothing i can do “ I was like really whats the point of your huge security guard ? No response , apparently he could care less about making sure guests can get a restful nights sleep. No customer service and uncomfortable bed means spend your money somewhere else

I was traveling from Edmonton to visit a family member who was at The Royal Columbian Hospital, which kindly referred your hotel as one of three options. We chose The Ramada & booked through Hotels.com. While planning, we checked the website & Trivago which indicated that breakfast was included with the room reservation. However, when we went for breakfast & asked the front desk lady, she insisted it was not included. I had to pull up The ad/booking to show her the inclusion. I realize now when I check that the hotels current website mentions a restaurant on site, not complimentary breakfast, but given the conflicting info during booking, a coupon or similar gesture for the 2 days we stayed would’ve been a nice way to resolve the discrepancy. Additionally the hospital informed us that if we booked with them, we’d get a discount. We were not offered any discount after booking through Hotels.com. On a positive note, I wanted to highly commend the lady who checked us out early.She is a people person, great with the public, she is pretty & has a beautiful smile. She explained we wouldn’t get a refund which we were ok with. Despite the excellent service from the front desk agent at checkout, the issues with the breakfast inclusion & the discount mean I will not be returning to your hotel. Sincerely, Cheryl

Need more accessible rooms also I asked for the key for the handicap/family room and they said they don’t use it anymore. The person I was with has issues getting up from the toilet by themselves no no bar or raise toilet seat.

I love staying here love the hotel. The only thing I hate dealing with is the night time deaf person he’s absolutely miserable every time I’ve been here he’s one of the most unpleasant people I’ve ever met especially being a customer service… on the other hand the afternoon lady is absolutely amazing she tries to accommodate you and a super helpful and Cherryand so are all the cleaners that I’ve ever met. There’s only one person bringing this place down.

Room was clean. The pool was nice and warm but the hot tub had too strong of jets. Being a smaller person i couldnt stand. They almost sent me flying into some guy sitting on the other end. Restaurant was really good and very reasonable.

Bathtub had hair in it, spider webs hanging from the tv, first tv remote didn't work, so I got a replacement, then that one didn't work either, shower valve leaked so much we had to close the bathroom door overnight to sleep, pool was so warm it felt like a bathtub

Beds are old and soft, same wit the pillows, could be cleaned better and mold areas in bathroom should be dealt with properly. Bathroom needs upgrading, faucets don’t work properly and tub drain was semi flogged and drained very slow (tub would fill up while having a shower) staff were friendly, location and amenities are good. All in all, not a bad stay. Just needs some upgrading and more attention to cleaning.
