Great room at a great price and great location for a visit to Lisbon.

Really enjoyed our stay at Hotel Lisboa. The staff were lovely, professional and helpful. The accommodation and the breakfast was good. The hotel itself was well situated.

I genuinely do not understand how this hotel has its rating. My experience was unacceptable, misleading, and at times felt unsafe. At check-in, Fabio Almeida insisted I pay an extra €120 for my 8-year-old, despite the booking clearly stating the room accommodates three guests. When I questioned this, he became dismissive and unhelpful. When I asked for his name and to speak to a manager, his exact words were: “You can’t intimidate me by asking my name. Do whatever you want.” This was shocking and entirely unprofessional. No manager was available. I was told Carlos Langa had already left, with no indication of when he could be reached. Under pressure, I paid the €120—but the room was not prepared for three people: no extra bed, towels, toiletries, or even water. The hotel condition was equally poor: dirty hallways, unclean bathroom, malfunctioning shower, and a strong unpleasant smell. The situation worsened the next day. When I returned to speak with the manager, Fabio became aggressive, telling me to find another hotel and stating “you are nobody.” His behavior escalated to the point where a colleague had to hold him back. I was genuinely concerned for my safety. Despite returning multiple times, no manager was available and no one addressed the situation. This reflects a serious failure in management, accountability, and basic guest safety.

Lots of high end shops close, metro 4 minute walk and a few good restaurants with 5-10 min walk

We booked Hotel Lisboa for just one night as a layover in Lisbon to enjoy the city and have dinner at our favorite restaurant before an early flight the next morning. The central location is definitely a plus, easy to get around on foot. The hotel was very clean overall (kudos to the housekeeping team), but unfortunately, the experience was largely negative and far from relaxing. Check-in felt rigid and unwelcoming: despite the hotel not being full (off-season), they strictly enforced the 15:00 official check-in time—no early access allowed, even though we arrived ready to settle in. The tiny lobby has almost no seating, so a line of guests formed at check in time, with nowhere to wait comfortably. It felt more like airport passport control than hospitality at a 4-star property. The room itself was the biggest letdown: it reeked strongly of cigarette smoke, despite clear non-smoking signs on the door. We could barely stand to be in there and spent as little time as possible before heading out, and we couldn't wait to leave for our very early flight the next morning. We were hoping for a comfortable, welcoming spot to unwind, but this stay fell short. We won't be returning and not recommending.

Nice place, only small hiccups during my stay, I’d arrived very early but they were happy to store my bag for me, very great location as well I could walk to anything within the city my only small critique would be the sound proofing on the rooms to the hallway but I didn’t find it to be a large problem for my stay!

I liked this hotel - breakfast was good, staff kind, and room appropriate. Beyond the hotel I don't think management is especially concerned with their guests' experience in Lisbon. After facing a disappointing tourist scam at a restaurant, I asked the hotel staff for a recommendation to avoid it happening again - I just wanted a proper meal. They recommended Santa Maria around the corner, and I was very disappointed to have faced another even worse scam - the restaurant served me rotten fish and had me pay full price despite my complaint. I was extremely disappointed that I put faith the in the staff at hotel lisboa and let down. I recommend they no longer recommend that restaurant to future guests.

Wifi was down for 3 days from the time we checked in (Feb 2) to checked out (Feb 5). No apology, no remedial plan.

The room was very clean. The staff were very pleasant.

Great staff, clean room, comfortable, quiet, excellent location. Breakfast was "meh" and a bit overpriced. But the hotel is nice. We will return!

The hotel was excellent. Great location but most of all the staff were so helpful and very friendly. The staff made our holiday a great one.

In a central area, shops nearby, walkable to many areas of the city. Great choices for breakfast. Reception staff very good. Comfy beds.
