We stayed one night at the Regency Park Hotel in Rio de Janeiro and had a lovely experience. The room was clean, comfortable, and well kept, which made it easy to relax after a long day of travel. The breakfast buffet was delicious with a great variety of options, definitely a highlight of our stay. What truly stood out most, though, was the staff. Everyone we encountered was friendly, welcoming, and extremely helpful. Their hospitality made us feel genuinely cared for and added a personal touch to our visit. We would happily stay here again and recommend this hotel to anyone visiting Rio and who wants to be in city.

Good location

Staff is super nice, food, environment and you are very close to alot of places. Hotel is not super fancy, but is really good. Location is good, but you will see A couple of people outside that might scare you, but overall i felt safe, and staff was great.

Clean and friendly staff. Did not allow early check in and check in time was over an hour when it was time. Room was small but great

The room I booked was supposed to be a triple superior, this room we got is only with a king bed for 3 people not triple beds. The room is no way a superior room. Luckily we only needed it for a few hours until we head to the airport. Otherwise I’d ask for a different room.

The staff at Windsor Guanabara are the friendliest people I have ever met.

It is a good business hotel, although since my last visit, a few amenities have been removed, such as the sitting area - no more sofa or armchair to sit and relax. Just a bed and a mall chair. Also, no coffeemaker in the room.

The hotel may not be in the best part of Rio but it is a very nice hotel. Our twin bed room was very clean, comfortable and spacious with a lovely bathroom with powerful shower. Breakfast was very good with a choice of hot or cold food. We had dinner a couple of evenings and the food was excellent and service from the waiting staff was excellent. We would definitely stay here again and the prices were very reasonable.

It was an ok property. The hotel charged us for mini bar drinks that we didn’t consume. We were late and communicating was challenging so we just paid the bill anyway, but it was frustrating. Staff was not friendly or particularly helpful. Pet much did the bare minimum.

The location is not good. There are homeless people everywhere to the extent they will follow you into the local cafes/shops asking for food. I traveled with my daughter and I did not feel safe in thebarea at all. There is trash everywhere. If you are traveling for vacation I recommend staying in Copacabana. The food at the hotel is medicore and is $25 USD per meal. You do better going to a nice restaurant elsewhere. I am unclear how this place has a 4* rating it is a low 3 at best.

The hotel itself is excellent. As soon as you step outside you’re risking your life. Filthy dirty, loaded with homeless people doing very obscene things on the street, lots of beggars.

Overall very good hotel. Great breakfast. Room was nice and spacious. Only complaint was no hot water in shower for whole trip

The breakfast and catering team are second to none. The hotel needs to focus on communication and not taking advantage of clients.
