Beautiful hotel with brilliant views. Staff were friendly and hotel gift shop was brilliant. Could only be improved by having steamers or irons in the room.

Our stay here was part of a larger trip and a transition night. All of the staff were very friendly and helpful. The pool area is lovely and the view from our room delightful. The Regina has a wonderful open atrium area. The hotel itself is a grand old lady but she could use a bit of updating and modernizing. A good stop overall.

Excellent service from front desk (from San Sebastián) bellman (Facundo) & Clara. Property very unique design, but carpets need good steam clean. Otherwise wonderful location, nice walk to beach and town. Hotel as charming as the town -- be sure to reserve your parking spot!! They have limited space

Lovely older building that has been updated and is very funky. Beautiful location however a little distance from city centre. Well appointed but not extravagant for the cost. Only issue we had was room had flies all over walls and was not checked prior to check in - issue was addressed once brought to staffs attention. Staff were very helpful and accommodating.

We were a bit disappointed in the staff at the hotel as a couple of requests were declined - early check-in and late check out (an hour). The hotel itself is fairly nice and the sea views were beautiful. The location of the hotel is outside the busy city core which can be difficult when looking for meals outside of the hotel.

We only stayed one night enroute home to the UK from The Algarve but we loved this hotel. Staff were incredibly friendly and helpful, the hotel is beautiful and well located for the beach and a short walk to the busy shopping area. We pre booked to park and were able to charge our car which was much appreciated. We ate in the Hôtel restaurant and the food and service were outstanding. We are already planning to return.

I cannot urge you enough to stay elsewhere. Go to the Sofitel down the street, or better yet, go to the Palace. This hotel is not up to standard. The staff is extremely young and does not know how to work or run an upscale hotel. It's a "shell" of a hotel. Pretty on the outside, but the service is repugnant.

Our room did not have air conditioning, the unit was broken and they did not have another room to accommodate us.

We enjoyed our 4 night stay at the Regina, and especially loved our time in Biarritz. I wouldn’t consider this a 5 star hotel (especially after staying at the hotel du Palais down the street) but it was a nice boutique hotel with generally friendly staff. As far as areas for improvement- the pool was quite small and our room was very basic for a “premier” room. The hotel also did not acknowledge our recent engagement we were celebrating, which all the other hotels on our trip did with enthusiasm.

Beautiful. Nice rooms and quaint.

We went with an Ocean Deluxe room and many features of room are extremely impractical or badly designed. In fact many areas of the hotel just seem to be badly designed from eating in the atrium restaurant being uncomfortable, to the pool beds having the most manual lift and the cabanas completely blocking out sun for both users. The service was mostly fairly unwelcoming and doesn’t go above and beyond, this might be cultural but with it being a so called 5 star hotel it mostly should be better. Fairly apparent when we sat by the pool and 4.45 staff came over and told us “as a reminder the pool closes at 5pm for a private function.” This was not a reminder, it was the first we heard of it and we were there all afternoon, something like this on what was a good day in bad week for weather should have been over communicated. Finally, the prices within the hotel are a complete over priced and whilst this is same in all hotels the Regina seems to have gone even further especially given the food quality and options are poor. This is a 4 star hotel at best. Look forward to coming back to Biarritz but certainly not to this hotel
