The general areas in the hotel are nice and well appointed (reception, bar etc.) but the hallways desperately need the carpets replacing and the rooms are a little tired/grubby in corners.
I was given an 'upgraded' room, it was on the ground floor (which is fine) however the whole length of the window was a parking space immediately outside so all I could see was a land rover and it didn't feel the most private so had to have the curtains closed the whole time.
Long check in queue. Body cream in the room dispenser empty. Would prefer takeaway cups in the room or reception for coffee to go in the morning.
