Was a nice hotel. Staff were helpful and friendly. Only get 2 bottles of water for the 4 days and also only had bacon at breakfast for 1 morning out of 4. Schwetzingen is a really good place to go.

Friendly welcome upon arrival; Bad pillows and only 1 per person; no AC (they do provide fans); no amenities so bring soap.

Good central location for business and highways in the area. The room is spacious, if quite dated. A good breakfast, but a bit expensive. As usual for most German properties, it is much too warm in the rooms, with no options for cooling - it must be unbearable in the summer in the southwest facing room I had. The staff was welcoming and professional.

The hotel is very clean and staff was friendly. There’s good amount of free parking available. Check in was very fast.

Great hotel, good location. Local area not so busy but good location for Hockenheim. Prices massively elevated for the GP however

Nice hotel, good service

I love this hotel. Very quaint and the staff is friendly. I have stayed here before and would stay again. It is just across the street from the Schwetzingen castle and walking distance to the center of town, shops and restaurants. Their breakfast is good, with eggs, sausage, bacon, cheeses, fruit, cereals, delicious breads, juices and more. They don't have air conditioning but there is a floor fan in the room and the windows open. The hair dryer in the room worked great; very powerful. Shower was a little tight because the shower head faces the tub door instead of the back of the tub, which is very deep. The bed was very comfortable and I slept very well.

We had a great time in the Achat Hotel, the staff were attentive, courteous and were most helpful when we had a problem with our transporting vehicle when part of the exhaust fell off. The food was really great, especially the buffet night.

1 night trip, on business in the Heidelberg/Karlsruhe area. The hotel was OK- room was a bit dated, and the bathroom absolutely stank when I arrived (all windows left open for the afternoon seemed to help) The other issue was that the WiFi didn't work in the room (despite being told by the clerk that it would) but it worked in the lobby, so was fine. Aside from these things, it was fine. I wouldn't have a problem staying there again for 1 night, but I wouldn't specifically seek it out. On the upside, the staff are very friendly and helpful.

The room had too much "fragrance" product in the air. As others have mentioned: breakfast is just OK, free parking behind the building is limited, street parking is also tight. Towels are very thin! The cost of the hotel is in line with the overall quality.

Good! Clean rooms, close to downtown Schwetzingen

Went to the Ferrari Racing Days weelend and the hotel was fantastic given its proximity to the circuit, the restaurant was also excellent and we were happy to take clients there.

ACHAT Comfort Hotel Heidelberg / Schwetzingen is a little out-of-the way from Heidelberg and a bit difficult to find. It is also located with a residential complex so parking of large vehicles is difficult. Overall the hotel was nice and the staff friendly. We found the rooms a little hot but the beds were comfortable and the breakfast tasty. For a one-night stay it was perfect. Most of the guest were business class.

Conveniently located hotel. Downtown, dining, train station, etc., within walking distance. Rooms facing the side street can be noisy because they are too close to the main thoroughfare leading to the city center. Ask for a room facing the inside parking lot. No air conditioning in the rooms and opening the windows does not help if the temp. is 28 C. The staff is extremely helpful. The breakfast, included in the room price, is excellent. Overall, a good stay for the money if you can live without AC.
