Breakfast was fine Aircon was decent Bar staff were obnoxious 💩 , we are not just robots. Won’t be staying again

Parking poor signage with Q park expensive and the booked VIP Parking but actually furthest from the hotel ??? Not a good start Reception understood parking was a nightmare and bouno on reception was very helpful Room and decor needs updating as felt tired Bar / restaurant dark and I inviting Spa area closed early at 18;00 hrs and only opens at 10:00AM ??? Poor Continental breakfast in room PERFECT and delivered 6am on time Needs some work and could be better

The rooms are well maintained clean and the ac works well. The bathroom is nicely layer out with instant hot water. Breakfast there is a choice of pastries cereals home made granola yoghurt and there is a breakfast menu to order from and cooked fresh in the kitchen. We didn't have time this time to try the spar out but maybe next time. We will definitely stop hear again next time we stop over in brum.

Very good experience here as always- my go to hotel when in Birmingham for work. Shout out in particular to my room air conditioning which worked perfectly throughout!

Lovely hotel, everything you'd expect from a MalMaison. Hotel room was spot on - lovely, quiet and well-sized. I was there during the hottest days of the year so far and the air conditioning worked perfectly. A fan was provided on the second night just because the aircon took a while to start up - I'd strongly recommend getting a second key to keep the electrics running whilst you are out. Gym is typical but big relative to what you'd expect from a hotel gym, with a good weights section, good for accessories or cardio. One warning - parking is not available! The parking specified is in fact an NCP next door - literally share a wall, but around £25 a day.

Clean, friendly staff, excellent bar / restaurant. Stayed in various hotels in this area & this is the best .

Amazing place to stay at.

Quite disappointed. Took a little longer than expected with check in. Appreciate it was after 11, however, the bar was still operating and thus noisy. I enquired if there was an event due to the volume. Check in team asked if I had been before, I explained I had not but then had to keep asking about amenities eg when and where breakfast took place and how to find the lift to the bedrooms. Room was comfortable but again noisy from other guests partying until 3am. Arrived at breakfast later than I hoped due to disrupted sleep. Order breakfast and explained I needed to leave in 15-20mins. Table behind not mindful of other guests and were screaming and laughing which made it an unpleasant experience. Order had not arrived so in fact I'd paid the full breakfast price for a cup of tea and a yoghurt. Have been to Birmingham many times and had booked due to a work event. Have previously enjoyed malmaison properties but would not recommend this due to the above experience with staff and other guests.

Convenient location and easy to find Room and en-suite clean, bed very comfortable Although we didn’t choose a cooked breakfast as we’d had a large meal the night before, the options looked amazing.

I love Malmaisons. The rooms are always different to the normal ones you get in other chains, but they're very well laid out. Even a standard double has a sofa at the end of the bed, so you don't have to be in bed to watch TV. The bars are always good too.

top class hotel. big room. very clean. wifi worked. It is part of the Mailbox building. Handy if you want to visit the BBC. Parking under the hotel. A bit of a challenge to get to the parking entrance but google helped. Food options in the bar a bit limited. would stay again.
