All was Great!!

Great location. The staff were amazing and friendly. The rooms were clean and quiet.

The coffee machine in the lobby is a nice touch.

Nicely welcomed on arrival. Needed some printing and the evening receptionist did a superb job. Also done in the morning. Greatly appreciated. We enjoyed the room and breakfast. Great choices and nicely catered. A first class choice.

Dated property, but very clean. Friendly Front Desk and Housekeeping staff. Breakfast was adequate, although the sausages and hash browns were dry. Easy parking, close to shopping with a grocery and liquor store across the street. On-site restaurant was closed, but a few other dining options within walking distance.

The rooms were clean and the beds very comfortable, Great Continental breakfast but it could have been hotter. We couldn’t use the pool because it was down for maintenance over all nice comfortable stay

Extremely frustrated that on all platforms this hotel promotes an indoor pool and hot tub facilities, restaurant when upon arrival for our 3 night stay we’re told it’s closed for maintenance for past three years!! No reduction no compensation for this was offered. Breakfast included, advertised pictures of eggs Benedict and many other options, yet reality was same every three days, scrambled eggs-extremely greasy bacon, pancakes dry cereal, coffee machine out of order and only one person running the kitchen and bringing the food out. Poor guy was run off his feet back and forth trying to cook and refill the three hot server containers. With a hotel at full capacity it’s poor management not to ensure adequate staff present to serve the guests. Room was clean, bed comfortable, good location.

Very, very limited items in the breakfast for vegetarian people. Every day there were same items for all three days. No change in the breakfast items..

Very disappointed with breakfast. Very limited food when we arrived 1hr before closing. Advised they had run out of butter. Only 6 slices brown bread left. Yogurt, pastries, fruit all run out. Lovely receptionist apologized. They did have scrambled egg & sausages.

We were in a nice clean room with daily housekeeping service. Our suite was accessible so the walk in shower was a nice touch. Great staff and a nice property that is centrally located in Courtenay. We have stayed there several time while in Courtenay 5 Stars.

There is some false advertising about this property and overpriced for this reason. #1 - it states on the website that there is a family restaurant on site. THERE IS NOT! #2 - it states there is a FULL BREAKFAST Included. THERE IS NOT! What they consider a full breakfast is, scrambled eggs, sometimes bacon, sometimes sausage (yuk), pancakes, sugar packed cereal, sugar packed yogurt, bread, coffee, and fruit cocktail. THERE IS NO FRESH FRUIT, no bananas, oranges, apples or anything that a healthy eater would choose! The room was clean enough except probably the carpet so I don’t like to go barefoot. The climate in the room is fine as you can adjust the temperature. The shower is a very fine spray so for anyone with really long hair it takes forever to rinse out. We won’t stay here again because it is over priced for what is advertised. There was no notice on their website stating that there is no longer a family restaurant. My spouse stayed here 2 days a week for work about ten years ago and said it used to be a large buffet breakfast and the property has really gone down hill since then. If it’s under new management, they have failed and lied about what is available.

The room itself was fine. The staff and service weren't at par with what I'd expect from a Best Western. Some of the front desk/reception staff are a bit rude, and the service could have been better too - we didn't have a face soap on the day of arrival. Breakfast was pretty good, however could do with more pastries and fruits.

The room was clean and the beds were comfortable. Breakfast was very good and staff were awesome.

Breakfast was good bar was a dive with lots of people freaking out and booked for the restaurant that has been closed for couple months but still shows up on there website and not there when you arrive which is depressing

Breakfast was not fresh if you get there later in the service time. Coffee was weak

Decent place a little dated.

We stayed in a pet friendly room with two queen beds. It was lovely! Front desk staff were very helpful (Meagan checked me in and she was great!). We had some issues with the A/C in our unit and they were quick to respond to me & got maintenance to assist right away! All in all a great trip!
