Lovely stay with friendly and helpful staff. Thoroughly enjoyed and have rebooked for two more stays!

My stay was okay. The room is clean and spacious. I am not happy with their response to my request on early check-in. I sent a mail to them requesting for an early check-in around 1pm. They acknowledged my mail and told me they will review and see the possibility . Nobody got back to me and my request was not granted. They should have provided feedback to enable me improvise

Staff were very friendly beds very comfortable. Food very nice

The only criticism was that the bathroom could have been a little larger.

It was a 2 night stay for a birthday. We were so impressed with everything at the Vale resort. The staff were friendly and helpful, the facilities were excellent and the room was very nice. One of my favourite hotels I’ve stayed at

Everything was brilliant and wonderful.

Good size room. Comfortable and all the normal facilities. Room would benefit from an update / refresh as looking tired

Overall it was a nice hotel and nice resort. The room was large and very clean. Our only issue was we were on the ground floor even though we were not part of the events. Due to being a popular wedding venue there was a wedding each day. The corridors were loud until 3-4am each day. We struggled to sleep most evenings. We recommend, if you are going to stay request for a room away from wedding guests.

This was a trip to Wales for the EPRC finals in Cardiff, picked this hotel as it was close to Cardiff, rail connections were good into the city which was recommended

How is this a 4-star resort?! The golf course is lovely but the hotel is in very poor shape. Carpets are stained, walls - scratched up and pockmarked with holes, furniture appears to be from 1980. The rooms are so rundown and shabby; you are not given a luggage rack or washcloths or a minifridge or any comfort. The food in the restaurant is good but the place has all the charm of an airport waiting area. We were extremely disappointed in the condition of the hotel and the available amenities. I have stayed at Motel 8s with more character…

Clean and comfortable room As you wo

Reception no personality at all , when we booked in . Pool closed very disappointed. Room excellent. Diner very good although three items not available. Nice little touches like bottle of wine in room , and bottles of water . But we did have exec. Room worth the extra . Would definitely return.

I travel to Llantrisant regularly for work and staying at The Vale is always a highly pleasant experience. The food is good, the rooms are reasonable and the gym facilities a huge bonus.

I have no negatives to report and would readily stay there again

This is a great place to stay. Lovely spacious rooms, great wifi, wonderful bathrooms and great views. But .... I'm sorry to be slightly negative but the curtains could do with being able to close properly for privacy. That is literally my only gripe. I can't speak about breakfast as I always leave too early. But I do like this hotel, my next-door neighbour (Clive Griffiths) put me onto this as he played rugby for Wales and always rated this hotel. I look forward to returning.
