Looking for a less expensive option than my regular hotel, I decided to try the Korona. Located in a quiet residential neighborhood with a total of 23 rooms, it was quaint. Considering the price/convenience trade offs, not a bad hotel. Though, don't be surprised if the Korona isn't a Marriott or even a Holiday Inn. And I agree with other posts that the carpet could use replacement, otherwise it was quite comfortable by Pension standards. Parking is quite limited (3-4 cars max), but public transportation is readily available.

A very tired hotel. I can handle basic but it was not clean. The carpet had black marks on it and was sticky- we didn’t even want to walk on it in bare feet! There was black mould in the corner of the room and the heated towel rail in the bathroom was filthy and wouldn’t turn down so it was far too hot so made sleeping uncomfortable. The balcony had a broken chair on it and was also filthy. The towels were so old and over washed they were thin and scratchy and the mirror was broken The room also had a low level musty smell. The owners much have got friends to leave reviews of very good as it definitely wasn’t. On the plus side the beds were reasonable comfortable and it was on a great bus route so easy to get out and about on public transport. I would say stay away at all cost, it was one of the worst hotel I had ever stayed in and I travel quite a lot. I am sure there is better accommodation for a similar price. .

Location, location, location

Friendly people on reception who are very helpful. Room clean and as described, slight crack in the ceiling, but nice powerful shower, comfortable beds and a lovely little terrace. Far enough out of the city but not far by transport, which is frequent! Would recommend and if I was ever to come back, will definitely stay here again!

Small family type place. Very clean if a little worn. 24 hour desk, everyone very pleasant & helpful. Room had a nice bathroom, fridge, micro, electric teapot, tea, cups, bowls, cutlery, TV. Large windows overlooking garden. Absolutely no complaints. Residential area outside city center. Bus stop at their door. Ride it 3 stops to the top of the street-there’s the tram station..take that to city center/metro. Very easy & convenient. Only slight negative-hard mattress & pillows.

Everything was great! The room was clean and modern, the location was easy and not far away from the center. I recommend this room! We’ll be back!

Old, overused , helpful owners can not compensate for the age of everything. If the price is right, for someone not to picky.

90s style rooms, old bathroom (dirty and old shower cabine). Wifi has ok speed, the balcony is a nice feature, bed is comfortable

At first when you see the place it looks like a cheap pension, but the rooms they are amazing and clean, the biggest problem is the people who work there barely speak English

It had space we need but I won't stay here again for my next trip but it had really nice bath thought but light in too much for us to sleep after 5am as it had no blinds in other rooms top window

The young male receptionist with blonde hair and blue eyes is in particularly professional and helpful. We appreciated and were awaiting for him to be on duty as the other male receptionist seemed to care far more less, see our experience with the wifi that was non-existing on the ground and first floor and intermittent on the second especially after one of the cleaners moving the modem and WE AS GUESTS HAD TO FIX THE PROBLEM (??!!!). The toilet was leaking and therefore poured away the bathroom floor in our room on the second floor, whilst on the first floor the sink was leaking and pouring away the floor. The water could not be set at either of the sinks/showers properly. Whilst I was taking a shower it all of a sudden became either over 40Celsius or below 10C!!! The bed was definitely too old and soft to our liking and made our back hurt severely. Upon us extending our stay the black haired shorter cleaners had a massive attitude, whom were seen outside at the garden table smoking lots of times, and we had to wait for hours to change our room, but when the blonde haired cleaner who spoke English arrived she promptly solved all of our issues and apologised!! P.S. The balcony would be a plus if NON-SMOKING customers would be able to sit out without breathing in the cigarette smoke of another guest and of the CLEANERS ON THE FRONT COURTYARD (whom act as if they were guests there and not staff who is supposed to be working)! None of the aircons are working!!!

The only thing to watch out for is that the property has two buildings. The reception is in one building, your gps might bring you to the other one, and there wasn't really a sign that reception is the second building down the street. Had a pleasant (unfortunately short) stay.

Lage in reinem Wohngebiet mit Bushaltestelle. Zehn Minuten Busfahrt zu nächster U-Bahn-Endstation. Oder 700 Meter Fußweg von einer anderen Straßenbahnlinie. Man wird freundlich empfangen und dann in ein anderes Gebäude zwei Hausnummern weiter geschickt. Dieses wirkt wie ein ehemaliges Mehrfamilienhaus im baulichen Zustand von ca. 1965. Sauberkeit ist in Ordnung. Frühstück wird nicht angeboten (im Hauptgebäude auch nicht). Kein Handtuchwechsel in drei Tagen Aufenthalt. Insgesamt dennoch akzeptabel.
