Our room was facing the Danube River. It had two balconies! Very spacious and comfortable. Dining was excellent! You need to make reservations as well. Staff was friendly and professional.

We had a great check-in, staff was very attentive, helpful, and accommodating. Beautiful hotel and the food at the restaurant was great for dinner.

Fantastic property, location and service

Have been using the Rhei hotel Dressen for close to 30 years when travelling Germany. Have always found it a great experience. Imposing, relaxed and situated on the bank of the Rhine

Absolutely wonderful hotel right on the rhein river! Wish we had more than 1 night, will definitely be going back. Our room was very grand with a balcony. And the beds were one of the most comfortable we've been on in awhile. Breakfast was included and had many options, tasting delicious!

The history of the hotel is fascinating. Try asking the staff when the lobby is quiet.

Room was lovely, big and very clean. View from balcony was amazing, however lacked a mirror over the dressing table, Hotel needs a bar and maybe the staff could be more helpful with local information

We have stayed at the Rheinhotel Dreesen many times and the staff is without fail friendly and helpful. Rooms are spacious, pretty, fastidiously clean, and very comfortable. The breakfast spread is wonderful and you're dining in a spectacular room with huge windows looking out over the river and across at castle-topped hills. It's definitely worth springing for a room with a balcony on the river if you can swing it -- gorgeous sunrises, glittering lights at night, boats and swans passing by. The rooms facing the street are nice too -- beautiful huge trees outside and there's no street noise at all. The neighborhood is exceptionally lovely, quiet, and very safe, and you're in easy walking distance to many wonderful small shops and restaurants as well as the Bad Godesberg train station.

We very much enjoyed our stay here. Our bedroom was spacious and the bed very comfortable. The food was excellent and the views over the Rhine were beautiful. The staff were very friendly and I liked the fact that I could practice my German without them immediately going into English! My only small complaint was that I would have liked a bathtub in the bathroom which was spacious enough to have one. Otherwise it was a lovely hotel and we hope to come again sometime.

Historic hotel, view of Rhine River and wonderful Sieben Burgen hills, quiet, leafy location, clean. Hotel restaurant not great; not many restaurants nearby. No air conditioning. Free garage parking a plus.

Dreesen is a beautiful hotel on the Rhein river with a great Beir Garten. Rooms are large and well appointed. Recommend to couples and families.
