Property was clean and beautiful. If you don't do all-inclusive option be ready to pay outrageous prices at the restaurants.

It was quiet, staff profesional. Funny, food was delicious, fiesta mexicana food was delicious but the mariachi only played for 1 hour.

The telephone in the room was not charged when I needed to call to have someone pick up the luggage. Also, I had to wiggle the door handle to get it to open. Otherwise the door will not catch whatever it is that makes it open and in the meantime you are standing in the heat. There’s no free WiFi. The beach view is obstructed by some cabanas but you can see it from the side where you exit to the beach. The grounds are covered with plants and palm trees it was beautiful.

Pros: - Excellent location, close to downtown - Nice hotel, in good shape, attention to the detail - Modern room with a nice private terrace… Maybe missing a table and two chairs - Good ocean view - Excellent service, all very friendly - We enjoyed the Noche Mexicana, excellent mariachi music - Breakfast buffet is acceptable…I liked Sunday’s brunch seafood Cons: - We stayed at the third floor and it was very disappointing to hear loud music at night (two out of three nights). - Our flight was at 7 PM, therefore we should be around 5PM at the airport. Since the checkout time is at noon, I needed to pay $64 USD to stay until 4:30PM!!!!. It is important to mention that the hotel was half-empty...

Amazing people clean and beautiful

I was recommended the Gaviotas Restaurant per one of the employees as a 2 Michelin Star and the food was not even fresh. Same with the rest of the outlets, food was not good. There was a cockrach in the room. The magnifier mirror was broken.

Great food options and the beds are super comfortable. (They also have rolled up beds upon request)

Convenient location

Location was great, but everything else was disappointing. The hotel’s location was good, with plenty of things to do nearby. However, I didn’t get the room I booked. I reserved a two-bed room with a garden view but ended up with a one-bed room overlooking a roof. On top of that, we were pressured into attending a timeshare presentation. We sat through the entire thing, only to find out we wouldn’t be receiving the gift they promised. It was an awkward breakfast with the assigned representative, and we felt so rushed that we couldn’t even enjoy the meal. Save yourself the time! Don’t bother, because they lie and you won’t get what was promised. The staff wasn’t friendly either. Almost everyone we interacted with seemed annoyed, especially the front desk and the ladies at the lobby bar. Lastly, the pool was unbearably hot. I understand the weather was warm, but it genuinely felt like the heater was on. Overall: Great location, but between the room mix-up, pushy timeshare sales, unfriendly staff, and the overly warm pool, I wouldn’t recommend staying here.

The property itself was great. The staff polite. However this property also runs as a timeshare. When I booked through Expedia I was not expecting to be approached to participate in a time share presentation. When we first arrived they took our luggage and sat us at a table. They said it was to go over the property map but it was to tell us about the time share. This took about 2 hours of our time we were hungry and tired. We ended up giving into attending the presentation which was to be 90 minutes and it was way longer because every time we said no, they brought in another person who he thought was to end the meeting, but I was always trying to sell us something even cheaper. This took up our whole morning. I did not appreciate this. Also, the hotel is beachfront, but that beach is not a good beach to go swimming in. It’s very rocky. There’s no sand to lay out in. Again the hotel was nice but did not appreciate the whole timeshare thing and the person we had to talk to Leslie got a little upset when we said we were not interested in purchasing anything. They did give us a free breakfast and we’re asked to leave a tip and a massage in a show.

Overall stay was as expected, no surprises. Close to downtown. Spa was good and relaxing. Cons: Wish has more activities inside resort. Some of the items in buffet needs to be covered since there were few flies around.

It's a very clean facility all over. Kudos to all the staff. Everybody's friendly and hardworking.
