This is a friendly hotel in a great location. Perfect for visiting Venice without getting caught up in the extreme tourist areas.
Our room was small and basic, but comfortable enough, and the breakfasts kept us going for the best part of some very active days. You really are paying for the location.
It's a short walk to the beach and a nice long one down the island if you're so inclined.
There are plenty of restaurants nearby, but be aware that some are far better than others.
Get up early and take the number 1 Vaporetto for a great tour across to Venice and down the Grand Canal. If you're lucky you'll get the outdoor seats.
