Roof top Pool first thing in the morning

Beautiful historic hotel with attentive staff!

Loved the rooms but the rooftop was so crowded and quite hot. Also, you cannot swim after 6 pm. It is officially a restaurant/bar then that you HAVE TO book in advance for. It would have been nice to just sit up top and enjoy a sunset but you cannot unless you have booked up there. Lots of rules. And, sometimes it can booked out.

The staff is very friendly and accommodating. Rooms were clean and made staff was very good. Rooftop area was beautiful. Having children my only wish is that the pool would be open past 6 PM. A little bit of a walk to most of Florence‘s great shopping. All in all great fine and great value for the money.

I had a wonderful stay at this hotel. Everything was exceptionally clean, and the entire staff was warm, friendly, and always willing to help. The housekeeping team deserves special recognition for doing an outstanding job—they kept the room spotless every day and made our stay even more comfortable. The location was perfect, with easy access to everything we wanted to see and do. Overall, it was a great experience, and I would absolutely stay here again. Highly recommended!

Rooftop pool (and the associated view) are absolutely incredible. The hotel itself is a little dated in decor / fixtures but clean and well-staffed (the staff switched the placement of the turndown service when they noticed I slept on the other side of the bed. The single room was a little tight, but it was everything I needed as a home base for a few days of solo travel in Florence. Location is just a little bit outside the heart of downtown by foot (in a good way), so expect to add on some extra steps going back and forth.

I loved The hospitality at this hotel. Everyone was so accommodating and they did a turn down service which I personally have never experienced before this trip, so that was special. It is located in an area not far from most of the sights we were interested in so that made getting around easier and cheaper. Loved the view of the Duomo from the rooftop pool and also how we had a beautiful view of the Arno River from our room. The room was kept nice and cool which was immediately noticeable on entry to the room each time. We did not use the bar on site but it looked beautiful. The concierge was most friendly and helped us multiple times to get a taxi within a few minutes. Overall we enjoyed our stay here and would return if ever in Florence again!

Close to everything, on the River, nice place

Our room was a great size (we had a two story suite) and the view of the Arno

The hotel pictures are taken in the perfect angles to conceal the real truth about this hotel. We paid just about 900 per night for a way below average hotel. Very out dated, shower is very old and not convenient. Room was extremely tight and small for the amount you pay. I had to request a fan because the ac was not working properly. The pool was not as elegant as the photos portray and the bar I don’t think was open at all. Every time I went to the bar it was closed. The property was very clean and the staff were so nice and accommodating. They did the best they could with what they were given. If this was priced correctly, maybe around 500 per night my review would be different but at this price point you expect a certain level that was not even close to be met. Given the choice I would not stay here again or recommend to anyone unless they made some much needed improvements.

We had a wonderful stay! The hotel’s central location made it easy to walk to all the major attractions, restaurants, and shops. A special thank you to Walter, the concierge, who was fantastic. He was able to secure reservations at several popular restaurants and made our trip so much easier. His service was exceptional. We would definitely stay here again!

Very pricey for such a small room. Not worth it. Location was ok. We had a nice view of Michaelangelo Square and of the river.

Great location!

This is a lovely hotel, great quality hotel well situated with around 10 mins walk to the main hub of activity. So, so good to have the option of the roof top area to relax at, with a cool pool after a day of walking and sight seeing in the heat, not to be underestimated. The room was spacious, air con great as was the shower. Nice view of the river and close to the steps across by bridge for lovely views on high of the City. Staff attentive, professional and efficient and with a friendly welcome. Concierge was helpful and likeable. We loved the extras, bar drinks came with snacks and coffee came with a quaint glass pot of scrummy biscuits. Cocktails from the inside bar were delectable, with the bar staff taking real pride in their work. Breakfast was very good, sausages and bacon were great, plenty of other options as well, endless cappuccino etc to order. The only negative point, though not major, is that the roof top lounger area was privately booked for non hotel residents from 7pm every night, so we had to move to the restaurant tables or bar stools, which were not as comfortable. However, the views from the roof across the City are magic, no matter where you sat..so a minor grip only. Book, its lovely
