Lived this hotel. Breakfast and dinner were wonderful. It’s nestled in between a great coffee shop and restaurant as well.

This property was beautiful, especially being right on the water. The staff was extremely kind and helpful! The dinning room’s food was absolutely delicious! Downtown had a lot of empty store fronts, but overall, a very beautiful center.

I was comfortable and well fed. It was like Thanksgiving without the relatives. waffle hour is now my favorite hour. *Chef's kiss

We had a lovely two nights stay and were very impressed with the quality and quantity of food included in the price. We definitely did not go hungry. The room and facilities were very good with lovely white bedding etc. Everyone was very nice and helpful which made our stay great.

Non-existent service, zero politeness. No greeting when we came in - no asking how our stay was on check out. When I complained that we didn’t sleep all night due to a BROKEN bed, I got zero apologies or compensation. All she said is she would pass on the message, like this is something a guest cares about. Unfortunately this is the only half decent option in Skien if you really need a place to sleep.

Friendly staff, very good bed. breakfast from 8 to 11 am. nice selction, with from fish , boiled eggs, scarabled eggs and bacon to cheese and red pepper. frankly i only noticed the salt and peper then i was done eating, asthe scrabled eggs as normal at hotels is more or less non existing, and i like a bit peppers and salt on it, but even with out it was fairly ok , as i added bacon so it got some flamour.

Comfortable hotel near Skien centre. Free dinner is a big plus! Free parking near the caravan parking. Rooms are okay and clean.

We were in town to pick up our new puppy, and this hotel was pet-friendly. The clerks in the reception doted on our little puppy, and not once did we feel like we were an inconvenience. This hotel serves an afternoon snack, and dinner, included in the price. This made for an exceptionally easy experience for my daughter and I, who had our little puppy along. Wonderful place!

Property was quite nice and clean. Easy to get to and staff was incredibly nice with great amenities. Would recommend asking about parking specifically because there is private parking in the back and can end with a ticket.

Located within a short walk from Telemark Canal cruise dock this hotel was chosen for it's location but it was so much more. Meals are included in the room price; both breakfast, dinner, and a snack. The food was made fresh and the quality and quantity way above the usual hotel fare. There is a bar in the hotel and several restaurants along the waterfront. The desk clerk helped us find parking, made sure we knew where the boat was leaving from and stored our bags for us until we got back, even opened breakfast early so we could eat before we left! Rooms were sparking clean, included a mini fridge, black out shades, and the beds were good. There is a library area in addition to the lobby. Home away from home.

Good basic accommodation. WiFi fast and reliable view from the room poor on the backside of the hotel. Waterfront situation with nice selection of bars and restaurants.

Friendly helpful staff who always greet you with a smile.

Good stop on driving tour. Complementary meals in evening was a terrific perk.
