The hotel is on the older side, the room was a throwback to the 80s or 70s. The cleaning staff did a great job of keeping it clean which makes it better Amazing view of Siena from the room

Helpful staff and overall vibe.

The rooms are very clean, ours was large with a full terrace overlooking the city. Only complaint is that it's quite nosy between floors and walls. offering selection of pastries

Everyone was very helpful and there was a lot of food choices. However, my husband got a rotten apple for breakfast. The mattress was very uncomfortable though.

The room was cold , the heating system did not work, the bathroom/shower was small. The bad not very comfortable, the mattress was old and was too soft. The only good thing about our stay was the breakfast, location, and service,

We have just completed a 7 week trip to Europe and have stayed at 7 different hotels and Hotel Minerva tops them all.Location is perfect and the staff was amazing.They were very helpful and friendly which we appreciated.Always nice to stay at a place that offers breakfast and rest assured you will enjoy a wide variety of offerings.

Efficient check in, staff were friendly and accommodating when they put us in a room that had yet to be cleaned. Clearly some but not all rooms have been renovated/updated based on website photos as both rooms we went into were less appealing then hospital rooms - very unfortunate as we were expecting much nicer and were surprised by the difference presented on the website versus what we actually received.

We booked a room with a balcony and were disappointed it was in a corner, was small (as was the room) and had 4 air conditioning units on the balcony. They moved us the next day to a fantastic room with a large balcony and a much bigger room. I’m not sure whether it was the same grade or an upgrade but the difference was really significant.

Rooms are out dated, bathroom is very small , shower very small

The staff at hotel Minerva were friendly and accommodating. For example, we had a bottle of wine that needed a corkscrew, and they provided not only a corkscrew, but a bucket full of ice. The view from the balcony overlooking Siena really gorgeous. And the location being right beside the city old mediaeval Fortress wall was quite cool to be able to walk around and see the sites. Also, just a 10 minute walk into the city Square.

The view from our room was beautiful! The staff at check in was so helpful and kind. They help change our room so we could have a view inside of the view of the side of a building.

The room was very small but the view was worth it. It was a good hotel in terms of location just a few all to most attractions and convenient for the train station

I was appalled at the treatment of the front staff. Those that appeared to be upper management were extremely rude. There was a young girl by the name of Sophia and a night receptionist (male) that were kind and went over and above! The ladies working in the cafeteria and the maids were extremely kind too. In fact, I would go to them for assistance in order to avoid the front desk.

We really liked our one night here. The location is close enough to easily walk to the city center but far enough away for it to be quiet when the city is bustling at night. We had a room with a terrace view of the city and enjoyed the couple hours we were able to sit out there. It's also conveniently located near the train station, only about five minutes by taxi to get there.

Good location outside main city’s streets. Terrible air conditioning system in the older rooms. No ability for staff to fix it. Newer rooms have a better a/c and updated furniture.
