The location is good . The whole place needs to be freshened up, it looks like everything is from the 1990ties . Breakfast was very average and overpriced as are the rooms . Be prepared that they will try to put you in a basement room and send you an email about it about a week before your arrival.

Location is excellent, room was v small, and lots of noise from next room

We choose the small room so was very tiny but if you are organized and doesn't have large bags it can work. The room was cleaned everyday even the shower areas which was nice. The staff is kind and friendly. The location is great, close to the station and a pleasant walk to old town

Perfect location! Approximately 5-7 minutes walk to the beach. Quiet and charming. The garden is very beautiful and therapeutic. I can't wait to stay longer. My daughter and I decided to take the train from Paris and stay in Nice but I'll stay longer next time. The guy at the front desk was very warm, friendly and nice. Everyone was super friendly!

Une Villa historique avec un emplacement idéal. Chambre acceptable en terme de taille (2 adultes et un ado). Espace limité pour le bain mais sinon l’emplacement et l’accueil chaleureux des gens fait toute une différence. Très agréable séjour.

I loved this historic property. It was tastefully decorated and well maintained. A beautiful blend of modern convenience and timeless elegance. Small, European rooms and bathrooms as is expected, but very comfortable and had everything we needed. Old Nice is a walk or short bike ride away. Train station location 5 minute walk. Highly recommend!

This hotel was such a lovely stay. My room was small but efficient with plenty of storage and was quite comfortable. I enjoyed the breakfast, simple but a great start to the day. And the garden was a plus for relaxing! The location is away from the hustle and bustle but close enough to walk everywhere.

We have stayed at the Hotel Villa Rivoli twice now, once in 2016 and once recently in July 2025. Both times, the service has been excellent. We especially loved the beautiful rooms and the great breakfast on offer. The small garden area is lovely and the hotel does not feel overcrowded. It is very convenient to walk around Nice from this location. Our children loved it as well.

Perfect stay here. Close to everything.Didn’t have breakfast so can’t comment on that, would certainly return here.

Amazing staff and beautiful boutique hotel

A/C in the room! Clean, comfortable. Staff were great. Breakfast included was very good. Hotel is only a 10 to 15 minute walk from the main shopping eating area. So many other restaurants close by too.

tiny bathroom strict on check in time no lift and lots of stairs so never booked here if you big luggage now someone who is a bit of weight will not fit in in the shower so if your size 12 and below you could fit in

A really lovely, friendly hotel in prime location. Just a few streets back from Negreso Hotel. Typical old French style building so be prepared there is no lift. There is a discount on sub beds at one of the beaches if you mention the hotel.

Excellent location and staff very friendly. Comfortable suite with terrace. Short walk to the Nice beach front, cafe's and restaurants. Definately stay here again

Fantastic location in the Musiciens district. The Negresco was at the bottom of the street and the station a 12 min walk. Lots of nice cafes and places to eat and close to Rue de France and the pedestrian area. Hotel is very lovely and quirky. Beautiful buildings all around. If I lived in Nice, I’d live in this area.
