The staff here was excellent, everyone was helpful and friendly, on the morning of checkout they prearranged a taxi to pick me up to take me to the train station. They answered all my inane questions with so much patience, it being my first time in Madrid, I had a lot of them! The hotel itself is in a great location right in Puerta del sol, and only steps to plaza mayor. Highly recommend for first time visitors to Madrid!

What great place to stay. The bed was extremely comfortable. They offer a great breakfast for a reasonable price. Great way to start your day. Everything within walking distance. Very convenient location. I highly recommend staying it.

We don't take the breakfast. Our room was clean and very quieted thank God. Very small room. The personal very helpful and the location perfect.

I very much enjoyed my stay here at Hotel Moderno. It was so central to everything in experiencing Madrid. Rooms are small, but that is typical in Europe when it comes to room size. Staff were helpful, especially in reserving a taxi for me for my ride to the airport. Overall, the hotel was great. I probably won't visit Madrid again, since I crossed visiting the city off my bucket list. However, I would definitely recommend this hotel for the value and quality.

A perfect little hotel right in the centre of Madrid. I recommend a room on 6th floor with a terrace so you can relax in the sun in the afternoon if required. Everything was clean and tidy and they provided nespresso coffee and a kettle. Polite staff and storage for luggage after check out

Superb location and, in spite of being so close to Sol, very quiet. I have no strong complaints. I found the breakfast good, the staff helpful but the room was small and had seen better days. The temperature was hard to control.

Overall a wonderful experience!! From beginning to end. Walk out front door onto one of the main centres. Breakfast, staff, accommodations etc was amazing. Will definitely stay again.
