Large clean room. Great bathroom and shower

Great front desk staff. Very attentive and always wanting to help. Room was clean but nothing to get excited about

Room Clean Size ok Wardroom could not have been smaller. Staff all were very good and helpful when needed Location wow could not have been more central to centre of Lille. Would have been better with a bar downstairs Roof top bar brilliant 55 euro for a bottle of wine very good but over priced still had two bottles 3-4 minutes from Rihour metro We normally stay at the Barriere 5 star hotel Lille but wanted to be closer to the centre of Lille. We still had a brilliant stay. Will stop again Thanks David

The room was lovely with its balcony overlooking the town square. The staff were amazing , so courteous and welcoming. Breakfast was a buffet in the dining room which was presented lovely. Hotel very elegant. There is no restaurant at hotel for lunch or dinner. The only bar is the roof top bar which is not open every day. We were given a voucher with this booking for a free drink each ( there were 8 of us ) but couldnt use the voucher because the bar wasn’t open.

I am perplexed by the high ratings this hotel has received. While it is in a good location with close proximity to restaurants and the train station, it is in need of an update. Specifically, the flooring in the hallways is very worn, damaged and dirty. There are bleach spots and others that are patched and dirty. The first room we were assigned smelled like cigarette smoke covered with fragrance. We asked for another room which was better however the TV didn’t work (full disclosure, we didn’t ask the staff for assistance to fix it). The bathroom was nice except the toilet paper holder was falling off the wall and the door knob was falling off the door so it wouldn’t latch. The rooftop bar, which we were looking forward to seeing, was closed for two days (the entire time we were there). We walked up to it, it was just closed for no apparent reason. Overall, it was a disappointing stay. The front desk staff were friendly and helpful.

Excellent breakfast, nice reception area. Rooftop bar is superb. Room was a little tired and dark, en-suite new and spotless. Not much wardrobe storage but overall room was fine. Location is perfect for the city centre. A great stay would definitely stay again.

The hotel is ideally located overlooking Lille’s Grand place (Place General de Gaulle). Staff are friendly and helpful. The sleeping arrangement consisted of two beds pushed together plus one sofa bed. Both were comfortable. Negative points: dirty marks on the duvet cover, had to request a replacement as no alternative room available. Duvet cover changed. Main bugbear was the toilet. It was located in a cupboard/boxed in alcove! No facility to wash or even disinfect hands. Hand washing had to be done in the bathroom which involved opening and closing three doors. Not hygienic. Spacious room but definitely needs to be rearranged. Breakfast reasonable but not sure it was worth €18.

Lovely friendly helpful staff. Beautifully decorated rooms, but some issues with sound and facilities.

The room was fine. Not overlarge, but bathroom had been recently updated, tho' surprised no conditioner or handcream. Or slippers or bathrobe.

Hotel in perfect location for exploring Lille. Walking distance to everything! Rooftop bar is cool, made an amazing espresso martini.

Lady at check-in very helpful and friendly. Gave us excellent restaurant advice. Room overlooking Grande Place was outstanding. Great breakfast. Such a welcome change from shabby rip-off places in Amsterdam.

Room was very good at the front of the building on the first floor shower was good walk-in type key to room was attached to a chunk of brass to big to carry around with you breakfast was ok but better can be found around the square. Roof bar is great with views all around overlooking the square is expensive but what isn’t

Hotel was okay. The Cafe Bar was never open although stated on hotel site. Room AC didn't work (room 306) so had to open windows - this meant mosquitos could share our room so a few bites and blood were given away free (this was in October). We didn't take breakfast and ate out for breakfast. All in all a good hotel with some niggles. Great location if you like shopping (my partner does).

Very nice hotel, well located in the center of Lille, great service, nice rooms, and good food, very well recommended!

Great stay. We had a room with a view of the square. Clean,quiet and friendly. Would definitely stay again.
