Amazing hotel, adequate spa. Whilst the pool is slightly warmed it quickly turns cold and it is missing a jacuzzi badly. Service in the hotel is second to none, every meal was lush and breakfast especially good. All the staff were courteous and prompt with any request. Would definitely stay again in a heartbeat, just leave the trunks at home.

Nice hotel. Modern room with a decent bed. Good breakfast. Friendly staff. Disappointed to find that when you book through Expedia you have to pay extra at the hotel to use the pool and spa (£30 I think it was). I think you also pay extra for parking although the hotel waived that for us. So that why I downgraded to 3 stars (Expedia needs to make it clearer when you book).

The staff

The room was spacious and the bed was very comfortable. The highlight for us were the friendly and helpful staff in every department from checking in, to the bar staff, breakfast staff and those in the Spa. We were very impressed, you choose your staff well, 1st class. We really enjoyed spending the day in the Spa, excellent pool.

Room is has a double bed and not a king size bed. Shower temp keeps changing while using it as it goes from warm to boiling hot randomly. Otherwise it’s a nice hotel in a great location

Not happy with the extra charges for parking and use of the leisure facilities. In future I will stay in a hotel that keeps their services inclusive within their price.

On arrival, there was no communication about times for dinner. I found out by chance that no food is served after 8.30pm. Other customers were asking for food in the restaurant and were turned away.

Everything was outstanding in terms of facilities. The room was comfortable, warm and fantastic. The pool area was brilliant. The big let down for us was the staff. The reception staff were outstanding. The restaurant staff were extremely poor. No care or attention. The spa staff were rude and uncaring.

Great trip. Excelle t wedding venue. Staff excellent. Bar prices a bit high and i think the air con could do with being turned down.

We stayed with our 4 year old son, when we got to the room there was a small rob, slippers, travel set of shampoo etc along with juice and a couple of extra treats for him. It was a really nice touch! The room was plenty big enough for the three of us. Breakfast was great. Only thing I would say is that parking is fairly expensive and the extra fee to use the pool is disappointing. Other than that it was a great stay

Amazing stay for the wifes birthday - spa is really good we go to a lot of spa breaks but this is up there with the bedt food was excellent and really loved the outdoor terrace area for a drink.- a massive thanks to Skye on reception who gave us a warm yorkshire welcome and made sure our stay was the best.

We stayed here for two nights whilst attending an event locally and it was excellent, we particularly liked the availability of fresh milk and cold water at the end of the corridor. We also ate in the restaurant on two evenings and the food was delicious. Would definitely stay there again!
