The room was very hot during the night. Not a pleasant sleep at all.

The quick option breakfast was fabulous value. Also the coffee was on point.

Clean hotel room seemed well organised good bar and friendly service. All good with swimming and hot tubs etc

Staff as always excellent

The property needs updating, I’m not sure I would call it a 4 star hotel. The staff were kind and polite. The breakfast was nice. The room was a bit dated, especially the carpet. All in all it was ok, not sure I would go back.

Very close to town centre and nice views. Room was very warm with ineffective AC.

Stayed a few times befor and always thought it was as amazing until this weekend. I Didn’t get checked in until 5:15pm with no real explanation. Then when asked for late check out on Monday to use spa facilities was charged £20.

The quayside area of Dundee where the Apex hotel sits is lovely. You can walk or cycle for miles alongside the river and it's clean. The town centre though is not so great. It's quite run down and there are lots of empty shops. The staff in the hotel were lovely and helpful. The rooms are cleaned and a good size. We had one facing the quay which meant we could watch the people doing watersports. The restaurant was clean and the staff were attentive but the food was average. Not terrible but not great either. The pool was cold but after a sauna it was perfect. A bit small and too cold if you were bringing children.

We checked in a 4.30 snd were told that the room woukd not be ready until 5 as laundry had not been delivered. For this, we were offered a 'free' drink, which was already part of my booking. As the hotel had sent approx one email per day since I booked it, i would have thought they could have informed me that check in was not available as advertised before we arrived. There were never enough staff, so it took ages to get served in the bar. Overall, a poor experience

Great hotel services

Unadvertised charge for parking which was not evident our last few visits within 3 years despite being told it has been applied during that 3 yr period. We discovered ridges on our bottom bed sheet which could have come from improper pressing/ironing.

Lovely hotel

This is a perfect hotel when visiting Dundee.

Really enjoyed our stay at Apex Dundee. Made use of the Spa pool, really good view from our room and the hotel is in an excellent location.

The overall stay was good, spa was really nice and the room was comfy. The only negative was that I had to pay £6.50 for parking my car, which I think should be free for guests in my opinion.

Lovely staff as always

Excellent stay. Very friendly and helpful staff. Great having parking on site although a wee hidden charge for this but worth it. Great food. Will definitely stay again.

Nice view from the window. Fairly average stay. We just noticed a difference in the helpfulness and friendliness of staff. Sometimes we felt invisible in the restaurant.
