Great place. Lots of space. Would stay here again.

The room we had was nothing like the photos. The room was clean but the toilet was damaged. It was all outdated. We asked them through message a question and didn’t recieve an answer till 3 days after check-out. Because we had a early flight we needed to leave before breakfast. We asked if we could get something anyway. Never recieved an answer. So the communication is not great. Location is only 20 minutes from the airport and easy to reach. And enough parking space. So when you want to stay just one night it can be an option.

It was ok. Love and old appearance but does need some updating.

Overall nice stay at reasonable price near Dublin City center

Nice hotel. We have stayed twice and would certainly stay again despite the location. It is situated very close to the motorway so on some summer nights without air conditioned rooms (so windows open) the road noise can be loud. The beds were comfortable, the rooms and property were clean and maintained and the Guinness in the on-site bar was as always, delicious!

Super clean excellent and friendly service every time I come to Dublin I will come back to this hotel. Family owned and operated and excellent management all the way around! Beautiful atmosphere historical building I really can't say enough good things about this place! 😊

The parking was plentiful and secure, staff were friendly and helpful, and the breakfast was hot with a good selection.

Beautiful facility and grounds. Room is great, our kids especially appreciated the separate twin beds! Room was clean, staff was friendly, breakfast (at extra cost) was good, plenty of options even for my picky eaters! Would definitely stay again if in the area.

Very small room

This is a historic property; lots of charm and good breakfast. Only problem was that the description says it has laundry but it is not accurate. So, we thought we would be able to wash clothes but we couldn’t. Other than that, it was a comfortable place to stay

Super ! Great hôtel near the airport

Martin was incredibly kind and welcoming to me, my wife, and our son. He provided excellent service and made us feel comfortable throughout our visit. His hospitality really stood out and made our experience even better. Thank you.

The rooms and bathrooms were clean - one of the best places I have stayed in Europe. I paid extra for breakfast - the price was reasonable and the food was excellent. The front desk staff were welcoming and if we needed anything we were quickly helped. The bar was convenient and able to help us with drinks or water. I would stay here again - great hotel!

First two nights of our Ireland trip and this was a great hotel to start it off. Having to get used to no A/C, this property offered great open windows, in the room. Overall awesome experience! Would recommend this location, if you're looking for a cheaper option, other than chain hotels.

We arrived on the hottest day of the year and unfortunately our room was by the motorway. Consequently, we were very hot and the room so incredibly noisy and stuffy, but we were not able to move for another two days as the hotel was full. Two very uncomfortable nights later, we were moved to a family room. Jackie the housekeeper, gave us an extra fan. Apart from all this, thehotel is clean comfortable and good value for money. Just make sure you know where your room is when you book, because if the weather is warm, you can’t open the windows if your room is by the nearby motorway, as there is no air-conditioning.

We stayed at The Lucan Spa two different days during our trip as we were driving through Ireland and it was not too far from the airport. I can’t say enough about the staff - we arrived early and we were able to leave our luggage there with no problem. I injured myself and they were genuinely concerned and extremely helpful. The breakfast was excellent and served in a very nice area. We had to be at the airport early on our last day in Ireland - which I mentioned in passing to the front desk - and a Continental breakfast was waiting for us at 6 am. The Lucan Spa is truly a hotel that goes out of its way to take care of it’s customers.

Staff and restaurant fabulous! Hotel is dated and a little old and could use an overhaul. The staff were great and very helpful and friendly.

Although the building dates to the 1750s, the interior and room was clean and modern. Hotel has an elevator, which is not a given for hotels overseas. There was no temperature controls in the room, but that is also not uncommon.

Fine... good price and free parking

Internet was good. Breakfast is the basic and not worth paying extra. We tried the lunch and it was good. The manager was not friendly and watching her interact with staff I was able to see why the staff never smiled due to the way she was talking to them. A 4 night stay and ate breakfast once. The pub food was better and eaten there once. The staff were very friendly in the pub. Our Housekeeper was excellent and very helpful. Room was clean but outdated. The location was convenient to highways and nearby towns.
