More options at breakfast would be better

The breakfast was amazing! The gym, sauna, hot tub were all great. They provided early check in which I appreciate and the staff were very friendly and knowledgeable. This may have just been a one off but the room bathroom counter had not been cleaned. There was still hair shaving from the previous occupant. Overall great experience.

Stayed here as was attending the EAiE conference . Checked in late and next day. No house keeping was done on my room. When I asked why I was told I had to ask for it the day before . I then asked for it and room was cleaned but no towels provided .Again I asked for these but never provided. Quite disappointed for the rate paid . Good location though

The only positive aspect of my stay was the view. Unfortunately, everything else fell far below expectations. There was no room service, no fridge, and not even a phone in the room to contact the front desk, which was very disappointing. My shower had mold, and both bedside tables were worn out and in poor condition. Another frustration was the bed setup—Scandic doesn’t seem to offer queen or king options. Even in my “premium” room, I had two double beds pushed together, which is impractical unless you’re traveling with someone else. On top of that, the sofa bed in my room was broken. With so many better hotel options in the surrounding area, I cannot recommend this property.

Rooms were size of shoe box, there was no place to store clothing, had to be left in case. Bed adequate but pillows very small and uncomfortable. Food very basic, very lomited choice of drinks at lunchtimes due to official barman. not starting shift until 3pm. Hotel a long way from tourist locations

Everything was amazing. The only downside is that the hotel does not have air conditioning in the rooms. So during the hot summer months the rooms are hot and muggy.

Rooms were small even the Family rooms were small for 4 people. Ventilation was an issue, no air flow.

Great place to stay for the Gothia Cup. Excellent breakfast and a really lovely bartender. Suggestion: Rooms need storage and hooks.

Location was very good. Close to tram, 20 minute walk to central station, access to bikes. Several restaurant options around and good breakfast buffet to start your day. Rooms were quite small and hot but it was some of the hottest weather during that time. Easy to get fresh towels without issue but had to request housekeeping. Hot tub and sauna area very well kept.

Good location

Hotel is conveniently located near Liseberg and the bus stop for airport. 5 minute walk into the city centre. Plenty of choice for breakfast. Reception staff very helpful.

The bathroom was dirty and had some red on the toliet seat. There was also long black hair everywhere on the floor

Overall it’s a decent hotel. Just warning that WiFi didn’t work at all in our room on third floor. Receptionist at the front desk basically told me ‘it is what it is’. Luckily I could use my network data in Sweden and it was a holiday not a work trip.

Fast and friendly check-in went very smoothly. Food was very acceptable for evening meal and breakfast. Service was good, friendly and efficient. Overall very happy with my stay here.
