The Scandic family room was large and comfortable. Staff was kind and helpful and everyone enjoyed the breakfast.

Exceptional! Super clean, many amenities. Walking distance to grocery store. Many places to socialize and outdoor games to play. Very quiet. Comfy beds. We very very happy here!

I had the pleasure of staying at the hotel for a number of nights and it was great. A nicely appointed and spacious room and bathroom with underfloor heating. You could open the window which was pleasant, and the soundproofing between rooms seemed very good. There was the national strike on at the time of my stay, so can't comment on daily housekeeping but would assume it'd be good based on the rest of the hotel. The location is super handy as CC Hamar is just across the road, there is few coffee for guests in the lobby, and a short stroll to the train station and central Hamar and the wonderful lakeside walks. Definitely recommend and all the staff, despite the national strike, were lovely and helpful.

Relaxed atmosphere but welcoming and helpful. Everything you could ask for or think about.

Room was spacious and clean . Staff friendly and helpful. Breakfast was good . Lovely hotel and lots of space to read a book. Internet good. It was close to city centre and train station.

The Scandic Hamar is a very clean hotel and they offer a good breakfast buffet. The beds were comfortable and the rooms well appointed. What was not so good was the staff and their attitude toward guests. They were not friendly, did not smile or offer a welcoming word. In most interactions, they seemed almost annoyed to be bothered by have to check in guests, answer questions or service the breakfast buffet. I could chalk this up to the standoff-ish Norwegian personality, but even so, they should think about how they treat guests from outside Norway.

Prisvärt hotell med bra läge. God frukostbuffè. Familjerummen var väldigt små men fungerar fint för en natt eller två.

Enkelt og greit ett helt fint opphold.

Aircondition var der ikke ifølge personalet - som samtidig sa det ble “nullstilt “ kl 23. Var veldig! Varmt der i fjor sommer da vi bodde der, ikke så ille nå, pga utetemperaturen. Veldig hyggelege og hjelpsomme ansatte!

Det eneste jeg kunne tenkt meg var om ac ikke var over sengene. Og at det var varme på golvet på bade. Må stå på handduk. Ikke godt etter en varm dusj. Ellers var frokosten og personalet ypperli. Takk

Det er alltid mye folk til frokosten og det er vanskelig å finne bord . Bordene står uryddet lenge . Sterk parfyme/ rengjøring lukt på rommet.
