Beautiful location, very friendly staff. The rooms were smaller then expected and not much in terms of amenities. Good for a one night stay, comfortable bed and beautifully decorated.

The property was nice but felt like any little “extra” came at a cost. Hot Tub? You had to pay per person for 30 minutes. Have not seen that before. No laundry facilities as advertised and cake in drawing room was added to invoice on check out. Nice property but be aware of extras.

Good location just outside Oban town. Quiet surroundings, nice decor and welcoming staff. We had a good evening meal in the hotel restaurant. Well stocked bar and well appointed rooms.

Wonderful small inn with B & B feel with history . The staff is amazing and actually overlap each other assisting you. A bit out of the way but beautifully set behind a gorgeous loch (lake) so plan on a car or about $120 in cab fare (6 trips) . Breakfast and dinner were delicious but unless you book with breakfast it’s extra. Well worth the extra travel.

Great breakfast and rooms were clean and really well presented. Nice beers on offer in the bar. Dinner menu great. Staff welcoming. Only thing was coffee from cafetiere a bit weak and could be stronger.

The staff were lovely and kept in touch with us after we had to postpone our arrival date. They followed up to check when we would be arriving and kindly kept our room reserved for us, which we really appreciated.

Nice stay

Welcoming hotel, great setting and fabulous food.

Overall we enjoyed our stay very much. The room was spacious, pretty well furnished and clean. Dinner and breakfast was not exceptional but OK. However the biggest pluses were the tranquil location overlooking Loch Feochan and the staff. From arrival to departure every member of staff we encountered was friendly, helpful, knowledgeable and professional. Tom needs to be singled out for being exceptionally helpful when we discovered a tyre puncture on departure. He helped us to source and arrange for a replacement and fix. despite missing our lunch appointment, the hotel is hardly a bad place to spend an extra 90mins. Very highly recommended.

What a joy it was to stay here. So good, in fact, that I stayed an extra night. The staff are all lovely, the location is beautiful, the house is warm and inviting with log burners, leather sofas and sheepskin rugs in the lounge. The bed was amazingly comfortable and the food excellent (the cooked to order breakfast with kippers and porridge is definitely recommended, but the continental breakfast was also a real treat - those croissants…👌). Faultless. And I’m hard to please.

Loved every minute of our stay

Lovely property with comfortable well appointed rooms. Extremely courteous staff and excellent dining and drinking options. Enjoying the lounge by the fire is terribly cozy, we nixed our plan to pop into Oban. Everything was pristine with keen attention to detail. Didn’t have the time to enjoy the spa but hope to do so during a future visit.

The staff were very welcoming. The hotel is beautiful. The rooms are very clean. The food is delicious. And the setting is outstanding. Playing board games by the fireplace in the evenings was a lovely touch. It’s only a ten minute drive into Oban, burger e high away that it’s peaceful. Thoroughly enjoyed our stay and will be back. Room was very comfortable and heated floor in the bathroom was an excellent touch! Staff were incredible helpful and knowledgeable. Will definitely be staying here again
