Friendly staff and good central location.

Breakfast was not free. Not sure why it’s advertised as free but we had to pay for it.

Room was very clean and spacious. Lovely shower. Would have been nice to have had a coffee/tea machine in the room rather than just a kettle. All of the Staff were extremely helpfull and cheery. Perfect location. Very convenient to access the public car park although we found it difficult to find the entrance initially.

Really lovely hotel! Clean, comfortable, friendly, plus we had a gorgeous view.

Reception staff particularly the Slovenian lady were great Good location

Bed in our initial room was extremely firm, but we asked at the front desk & the lady there very kindly moved us to a new room with a mattress topper. Was apparently the only one in the hotel, so I think we got pretty lucky there but the front desk lady was extremely understanding and friendly about it all. Cleaners were also lovely the one time I met them & room was always very clean.

Overall, it was a wonderful three nights stay. We were able to relax the first night to ease our jet lag and rest of the stays were perfect.

Lovely place in a great location

Don’t loose your key after midnight, the night porter did not open the door despite 10 mins of ringing. Had to get the bar next door to call. No biggie things happen. Reason for 1 star was the reaction of the gentleman on reception in the morning. Awful attitude and was suggesting I didn’t ring the bell! Reception was lovely but the rooms were rank !

I really like the location of the hotel, with lots of options for dining. It is also walkable to historic center and most activities and it is close to the train station.
