Gorgeous hotel and rooms. Good breakfast selection. Would definitely stay again and recommend to others.

Perfect stay and great location!!

Staff was always very helpful and friendly. Breakfast was delicious and offered good vegetarian options. Bar was not well equipped for complex cocktails if that’s your thing and were highly overpriced. Rooms were nice enough but walls were thin and room could be very noisy from both inside the hotel and outside. Overall a nice place to stay and very centrally located for ease of getting around Manchester.

Had a lovely stay. The bed was so big and comfy!

Was very hot in the room due to the weather and a fan was provided but didn’t help, we found it very hard to sleep. Breakfast was good and the downstairs area very nice and modern. Not sure if some rooms are going through refurbishment as ours was very dated and needed upgrading to meet the vibe of the downstairs. Great location.

Well located in the city centre and close to lots of eateries. Excellent staff very friendly and helpful and the breakfast was very good with lots of choices.

Great central location, and very helpful staff. The food was good, but difficult to navigate with the ordering process and general communications requirement through WhatsApp. Overall, decent property, but lower scoring based on our expectation compared to the price point.

I cant say enough great things about this hotel. The location was phenominal and the staff were all so so nice. Shout out to the girl with the nice hair who let me check in early!

Nice hotel but a very disappointing bar. Shower was weak, breakfast not very good, evening restaurant menu very limited (we ate out)

I’ve stayed here many times with work and the only thing I have found which is not much of a problem just my preference is that they used to put hot chocolate in the coffee and tea caddy and for the last 4 stays they have now stopped it Nothing to moan about but it was a nicer option when they used to offer that as I’m a non tea/coffee person

Good central city centre location with nearby parking available at extra cost. Friendly staff. Tired room that needs refreshed decorating, cold with noisy heating system- not great for good sleep. Bathroom floor not clean. Breakfast offer disappointing selection & not very good value for money, coffee machine broken.

It’s been a while since I stayed at the Alan. It’s alright but has bizarre elements that take the edge off it being better. My upgraded room had a large aircon unit bolted to the ceiling that made a strange noise every so often despite not being on, the lead on the kettle isn’t long enough so you have to boil it on the floor, and in this room the toilet roll holder was broken. The beds are good and it’s a nice space, but I’d advise taking earplugs! Definitely go for breakfast over the road at The Vienna Coffee house, it’s really good.

I did not have breakfast, but I was very impressed by the amenities at the hotel. A very luxurious experience and feel.
