Room was perfect for our stay , all staff that we interacted with were polite and helpful (reception and bar)

Amenities, bar and rooms need upgrades..bar closes at 9:30/10pm every night..very basic hotel

Room was clean but small. Very squeaky bed. Pillows were very flat. The door didn't block any sound so you heard every noise outside

So What started off as a nice experience. With the receptionist turned into not a very nice stay. We had to move the bed as we dropped something down the back of it and it was filthy I think it might have been dust or fluff. The plug sockets were not very accessible for charges. I had my laptop with me and was unable to charge due to the poor positioning of the plug sockets. We open the window as it was quite stuffy as we chose a small room, and when we went to close it it would not close. So we had to go all night with the window open. The heating was inadequate for the room. I’m here it is the grand finale the icing on the cake-we came to Manchester to go out so asked for a late checkout option. We paid £10 to have an extra hour in bed, an extra hour where we were not disturbed and gathered our thoughts ready for our drive home. Bang on 11 o’clock there was a bang on the door as if we were being raided by the police and somebody burst into the room. My wife was half dressed on the bed and I was getting out of the shower. We paid £10 to to not be disturbed and we were the noise from the cleaners cleaning the rooms also added to the problem. I think it’s utterly disgraceful but a male can enter a room with no warning after banging on the door so hard. Why didn’t you check the system to find out who had paid extra for that one hour of tranquilizer.

Not fully sure about why but I didn't like staying in this hotel as much. No major complaints but simply didn't like the vibe ...

Didnt have breakfast

The room was clean, had an excellent shower. Breakfast was good value but a little oily. TV was broken, reported it the first morning, was promised it'd be attended to that day. But was still broken 14 hours later.

Staff went above and beyond! Room was clean, comfy bed, was a little cold in the rooms but once in bed was fine.

Amazing powerful shower, friendly staff but rooms a little cramped and dated. No sockets bedside.

I love coming here. It's always my Go To Hotel when I visit Manchester. I do Recommend.
