If you're visiting the RSC then there really is no better hotel; across the road from the main entrance and just down the road from the Dirty Duck. Along with the ideal location, the service is of a high standard and rooms very well appointed (air conditioning, comfortable bed, safe, and large bathroom). We enjoyed breakfast both mornings (there were no problems at all in accommodating small additions to the standard menu) and an excellent a la carte meal one evening. We really couldn't fault any element of our stay and highly recommend you pay the Arden and their wonderful team a visit.

Stayed overnight to watch The Tempest. So convenient to the RSC. Staff were amazing especially Alysha. Our room was the Alder , deluxe huge room with huge bed. Really comfortable little treats as well as the norm tea coffee etc. Milk and water in the fridge. Cool enough air con perfect. Food was gorgeous dinner and breakfast. No complaints there and I’m a fussy eater. Hotel is very quiet and relaxing especially the Temple Spa toiletries which I would defo go back for.😂 As reviews have mentioned it is a little dated, lights in the bathroom could be a little brighter, perhaps some furniture could do with an update as well as some walls requiring a lick of paint, but to be honest , it was so clean , staff so friendly , lovely and quiet, heard the birds when I woke up, food amazing and a really comfortable night. I know what I would prefer , to have the latter than perfect paint on the walls.

What a lucky, last-minute find! Wow! So sad we were only there for 1 night! Amazingly placed hotel for Stratford. Walking distance to all amenities and tourist attractions. All of the staff, from the cleaner, waiting staff (slender, small, long dark haired young lady, very sweet, didn't catch her name sadly, that looked after us for dinner), Receptionists (day and evening) and the Manager, were ALL so helpful and friendly. We had a problem with the shower in our room (cold water tap broken) so could not shower the night of our stay before dinner. We reported this en-route to dinner and, whilst eating, the Manager came to us to inform us he had made a temporary fix to it with tools which allowed us to shower later. He also assured us that he would get Maintenance involved after our departure. The atmosphere at this hotel is so relaxed and welcoming - I would not hesitate to recommend, and will DEFINITELY be staying again! 1 night was not long enough. The room was huge, very comfortable and clean with lovely little touches like a fridge with water, fresh milk and snacks like popcorn, pretzels and biscuits! We looked out directly at the RSC Theatre also! Our daughter slept on the sofa bed and practically had a room to herself, with her own TV too. There were also apples and a fruit knife for us to eat! Not had THAT before! Breakfast was also lovely - fresh cooked to order - beautiful poached eggs! Plenty of choice. Thank you for a lovely stay! We WILL be back!

The hotel was clean, the staff were very friendly and very helpful throughout our stay. The breakfast served full English and continental. We had a peaceful sleep as the hotel was very quiet. There are nice treats in the room for guests like biscuits, popcorn and water. Staff were helpful and charged our electric car overnight for our next day journey. Would definitely go back again.

Onsite private parking. The Arden is a very attractive hotel overlooking the RSC. The hotel is light and airy. Lovely warm welcome. The receptionist took us to our room, I can’t remember the last time we were shown to a room. We liked the decor of the hotel and the room. The room was large with a superking bed, en-suite bathroom with shower and bath, and a dressing room. Very quiet neighbourhood. Picturesque gardens. We particularly enjoyed the champagne bar. From The Arden most attractions in Stratford are within a short walk. It’s a very pretty town with lots to see and, every time we have been at least, street performers by the river. All in all, a glorious short break.

I have stayed a few tomes at The Arden Hotel and it is one of the best smaller hotels i have ever stayed in for its service, value for money , location , levels of comfort , you cannotngonwrong by pocking this place to stay !

Very handy for the RSC, lovely food both at dinner and breakfast. Room was extremely hot which is the only criticism, it was spacious and the bathroom was really lovely.

The location is central. The hotel is unique with spacious rooms and fabulous bathrooms. Everything in the room was complimentary. The staff were extremely friendly and helpful. We all enjoyed the breakfast and both the chef and the waitress exceeded our expectations, in particular regarding the gluten free requirements that my daughter has. I wish we had stayed more nights. We'll go back when we return to Stratford.

On site parking for £10 very good value. We had one night, so effectively almost 24 hours. On street would've been way more. Third stay here, and the staff have consistently benn friendly, professional, knowledgeable and efficient. Take you to your room and leave, no hanging around thinking of a tip.
