Excellent check in and stay

Lovely staff and nice room with modern amenities

Check in was easy and the reception staff said let them know if I needed anything. I wanted green teabags and asked for them over 2 days about 4 times. Eventually, Georgia, the reception supervisor, put them in the room herself, so I had them for my last evening…… I’d asked for a walk-in shower but the water was lukewarm, and, although they said it had been fixed, it hadn’t, so two disappointing showers in 2 days! The room was clean but the floor was a bit gritty (I was barefoot as I don’t wear shoes indoors) but otherwise a corporate room, plenty of space and adequate lighting and quite nice biscuits. I can’t understand why quality hotels only offer instant coffee in the rooms though! After checkout, while I was waiting to leave for my train, Georgia very kindly found me a nice place to sit. Would I stay there again? Not sure, but it is a few mins walk from the National Museum of Wales, which is why I chose it.

We came away for a long week to Cardiff, and would not hesitate to stop at the same hotel again. Rooms were clean and spacious, beds were comfy, staff were really friendly and helpful. Breakfast was very nice, and the hotel was in a great location, just a 5 minute walk from the castle, and also Queens Street Station which can get you to Cardiff Bay in a few minutes. Loved every part of the stay.

The room was clean and the staff was very helpful. The location is very central.

The staff were absolutely first class.

We travelled to Wales for a hen party and to meet up with our sister who lives in Wales The hotel was lovely friendly staff and a lovely breakfast on both mornings we were staying .The pool is excellent too.Happy days .Fab location we really enjoyed it .Hope to be back soon.

It was excellent

Clean room, although bed in disabled room is not very large for 2 people. Reception and housekeeping staff are lovely. Restaurant is very average. Bland food and poor service. Did not use the pool facilities.

Only issues was waiting for tea this morning with our breakfast

Breakfast was nice, nothing special. Choices of bread Cereal and a few pastries, cold meats and cheese. The hotel spa was clean, and not too busy with about 7 loungers and a few chairs. The spa isn’t quite as glamorous as the pictures suggest. The hotel staff were very friendly and very helpful especially the staff on breakfast All in all a very pleasant stay and would stay again

Nice hotel close to the town centre and arena

The hotel was a really good we were pleased with our choice particularly with other high ranking hotels in the mix! The staff were extremely warm, welcoming and helpful and the package we got made our stay extra special for our first wedding anniversary! The bar was nice and relaxed and a great range of drinks! We stayed breakfast but chose to have breakfast just one of the mornings initially so we could experience a breakfast in the centre of Cardiff. The breakfast was average and although we ordered our coffees none arrived - this was probably due to how busy it was. The breakfast we had the following day in Cardiff, although slightly more expensive, was delicious, fresh and promptly given. The location of the hotel was excellent! The pillows could be slightly more firm and it was noisy at times in the night due to other guests. Other than these minor things, we had a great time! Thank you 😊

Clean, spacious room. Great breakfast. Spa was great.

Nice hotel but a bit pricey for what you get. Very loud in the rooms, could hear next rooms tv at 7am and lots of banging throughout the night. Also music from the nightclub opposite until very early hours

Staff were very professional and helpful. The hotel was very clean and very good quality breakfast

Central location, close to the high street. Pool and sauna are nice. Only wet sauna but fine for us. Clean room, quiet, staff were nice, we even got a complementary wine bottle for not having room service. Parking is expensive in the whole area (even with hotel discount), most of the hotels don't have own parking.We booked a much cheaper parking outside city center for two days and took an uber to the hotel. We had a nice experience and would return.
