Excellent location. Room was clean and bright. Lacklustre decor and furnishing, but decent place to spend a night and take in the area.

In a town as old as Lunenburg, I understood that this property would be historical, but it needs some care. The carpets are so old and are worn and smelly. Our bedroom sliding window was completely broken—we could pull off the lower half but couldn't open it up. The AC was nice to have but so loud and had only high and very high speeds and was right next to the bed, so we turned it on and off all night. With a little care and added theme-fitting decor, this place would be wonderful. Staff was friendly, parking was convenient, and location was great, as it was across the street from the harbour and near all the shops and restaurants.

The hotel is located very conveniently. The room was dated but clean. The owners were very nice and helpful!

The staff were very kind and polite, and overall it was an easy check in process. The location is awesome as it is right near the waterfront, and close to restaurants and cafes. It was perfect for our one night stay!

Our stay was good. However, the picture of the property on Expedia is misleading, it is not on the waterfront, it is a block away. It is in a great location, as it is right on the Main Street of Lunenburg…so everything is within easy walking distance. Also Mike was great…walked us over to the Blue Nose, and got us a great parking stall, which could be a little difficult. Room was okay…clean, but could use a refresh.

Receptionist was very accomodating. He even offered to give us a ride to Mahone Bay despite being busy. We were able to get a cab though but he was kind enough to offer the ride. Place got that old school charm. Room was complete and the bed was very comfortable. Bathroom was clean and the toiletries were nice. Scent was good! Right in front of the spots!

A close block away from the Lunenberg waterfront and right downtown; easy to walk to all the sites and restaurants. Convenient location where car is left in parking spot for the whole stay. Owners very attentive and helpful.
