This hotel is the definition of “you get what you pay for” - reasonably priced in a great location, with an excellent breakfast and very good staff, so what’s missing? Firstly, the hotel has no parking and the streets all around are full of cars looking for a parking space…we spent 40 minutes looking and ended up 15 minutes walk from hotel. Next, WiFi - despite hotel saying it’s available the service doesn’t connect reliably and drops out constantly. Third, the rooms are small - although the bathroom is adequate and there’s a tiny balcony. Fourth, there’s no A/C. So that’s are the downside…the upside is location - the beach is directly across the road in front of the hotel and is a fine sandy beach that shelves gently into the water and is safe for kids. The boat harbour and ferries are a five minute walk with lots of bars and restaurants and the fabulous town market is a ten minute walk and a must-see. There’s also a spectacular walking path that follows the cliff tops north all the way round to the Casino - about three kms so if you lose all your money you can walk back to the hotel. Highly recommended.

Hotel was good in a very good area

Overall good hotel close to the beech -the room was an upgrade so had belcony with sea view -it was clean but basic and probably not one of there best rooms as it looks like there slowly doing up the rooms but for the price we paid we were happy with the room the only gripe was no shower screen or curtain so when you showered it flooded the bathroom but not our problem and the staff were friendly enough -we didn’t have any real problems so would recommend this hotel

Good location - no hotel parking but lots nearby. The bed was clean and comfortable but the bedroom could do with an upgrade. The bathroom has been updated so maybe it's work in progress. Overall we enjoyed our stay.

Very good location, close to the beach and restaurants. The rooms are really nice and charming. There is of course a little noize from the streets, but no more than you can expect from such a central location.

Adresse à recommander, tant par rapport à l'accueil, au personnel, la propreté et les équipements, sans oublier le petit déjeuner où rien ne manque. Et la situation face à la plage...

un accueil très agréable, une chambre magnifique avec une literie de grande qualité Buffet petit dej très bien garni, et très varié. Rien à dire juste des compliments avec en plus une hotesse très agréable.

Rien à redire sur la propreté des chambres. Tout était nickel. Le personnel est super accueillant. L’hôtel venait d’être refait à neuf avant notre séjour. Et en plus on était juste en face de la plage, la route à traverser

Gerants super gentils et competents

Emplacement à Royan idéal. Intérieur de l’hôtel très accueillant, propre. Chambre agréable et propre. Personnels rencontrés agréables. Peut-être inconvénient à venir : une terrasse est en train d’être construite -> si j’ai bien observé, cette terrasse sera peut-être accessible depuis la salle des petits déjeuners : pas très agréable pour les chambres concernées ! Ceci mis à part, je suis enchantée de mon week-end passé dans cet hôtel. Pas impossible que j’y revienne si l’occasion me le permet.
