Booked a twin room plenty of space clean linen and sheets also comfy beds

Staff very helpful with trying to book you in, it took me about 30mins to get booked in ,the new system they have got not very easy for older people like myself poor Wi-Fi didn’t help. Then came the booking in for your car another night mare and a rip off for what they charge you £20-40 per night. Don’t think I will be staying there again, have stayed there many times over the last 20years so I’m calling it a day. On a another note Bournemouth not a very safe place to go now very run down lot more troubles with druggies,homeless people and alcoholics, I have been going to Bournemouth since I was 10 and sadly not the same place anymore.

Old hotel, windows didn’t work. The bad was terrible. Towels and linen were very clean!

Reasonable value all round but could do with modernising a tad. The antique hair dryer created a horrible burning smell. Other than that the room came with everything you’d need or expect. Pillows I found horrendously uncomfortable. Overall ok, room was clean and tidy. Staff were friendly. £15 for parking is a bit of a liberty.

Beautiful hotel, would recommend staying. Close to Bournemouth Beach and shopping areas, well served by bus route. Hotel has wine bar underneath which closes at 2.00am / 3.00am and club next door, which closes about same time. Would have preferred A/C in room instead of fan, but I'm assuming as a listed building might not be logistically possible. A mini fridge would have been nice as well. I was told by reception that bedroom door locks automatically once inside the bedroom. I would still have preferred a lock that I could use to manually lock the door. I had a single room, which could quite easily be used for a couple. The shower stall was small, left me feeling clausaphobic Unfortunately the bed wasn't the best for me. I felt like I was about to roll off the edge several times, even when I slept in the middle of the bed. Thank you

The hotel is dated, but always used to be good, sadly under new ownership its changed! Now you have to self checkin which took 3 times longer than if the lady had just done it on her system rather than helping me on my phone with poor signal. The parking fees are now extortion and you guessed correct it needs to be paid using an app on your phone which takes around 5min! After entering my room i looked out the window to admire the sea view to be greeted by 2 dead seagulls rotting on the flat roof below the window around 2.5ft below! I reported this to reception and expected them to have been removed the next day but sadly not! Used to love this place and have spent hundreds of nights in it over the last 10 years for work but last night will be my last ever going forward.

Lovely hotel in a great location, room nice and great bed however DO NOT STAY HERE ON A FRIDAY OR SATURDAY NIGHT. Nightclub open until early hours with VERY LOUD music so you can't sleep.

First the car park. This WAS a real feature of the hotel. But the new owners have given it to an external company, and it costs £20 per day!!! I drove straight out to oark nearby at 1/3 the price. The worst bit was the check-in. Thu 9 July at 4pm. A surly girl who gave no greeting, told me the price, reluctantly reduced the booked amount because they no longer do breakfast, with no comment other than just stating the new price. Then told to check in using a QR code, a very long winded process including having to send a photograph etc. Given the key, with no comment from her. After that, great. The room was nice with a Seaview it had a fan, plenty of pillows, large bathroom, and very pleasant. A good atmosphere in the evening, with a large screen outside for the football and a good atmosphere inside. One overexcited guy was removed by Security which I’m sure pleased everybody.

Absolutely disgraceful experience and nowhere near worth the £180 per night we paid. This was one of the worst hotel stays I have ever had. The room had what appeared to be bed worms/bed bugs, which made the whole stay extremely uncomfortable and unhygienic. On top of that, there was no hot water in the shower, meaning we could not even properly wash after a long day. When we raised these serious issues with staff, they refused to move us to another room or provide any meaningful solution. For the price charged, I expected a clean, safe and comfortable room with basic facilities working properly. Instead, we were left feeling frustrated, ignored and completely let down. The condition of the room and the lack of customer service were unacceptable. I would strongly advise others to stay away and spend their money elsewhere. £180 per night for this level of cleanliness, service and comfort is an absolute joke.

We left the property 15 minutes after arriving and have requested a refund but haven’t had a response yet. Smelt strongly of mould. Plasterboard broken on the floor fallen from the ceiling. Windows didn’t work properly and rotton wood broke off as it was opened. Due to have an extra bed in the room but “due to house keeping not being in” that didn’t happen.

I’m going to be honest The decor… it is seaside town - old regal building style and not the most fragrant. But the location, the size of the rooms and its staff - takes the rating up. It was clean and tidy - exceptionally placed for the BIC and a very lively bar underneath, which is great to continue the night after a gig. For the price. Exceptional. Staff - lovely. Friendly, patient when dealing with crowds and things that need some attention, Would I stay again - yes I would. Thank you.

One of the reasons for Booking was the free WiFi but there was no connectivity on the third floor. Very difficult to sleep as the hotel incorporated a bar/nightclub on the ground floor.

I asked if we could have a late check booked, which is £10 an hour, so we paid £20 to check out at 1pm, but at 12.15, the housekeeper was knocking on the door, I said we weren't ready, but still came back and knocked again 10 minutes later, we booked a late checkout for a reason.

check in was straight forward though you will need to pay £15.00 to park which is not the end of the world parking is secure bedroom was big only a short walk to the pier and beach also there is live entertainment friday and saturday currently which we enjoyed benefits of being a resident overall a great expereince would recommend

AMAIZING EVERY THING IM TRAVELING VERY OFTEN AND DEFINITELY I WILL RECOMEMDAD CLEAN,FUALL ATENTION ,CLOSE TO THE BECH TO THE CENTER TOWN ALL WAS AMAIZING RECEPTION WAS VERY HELPFUL AND POLITE ALL GOOD DEFINITELY I WILL BACK AND RECOMMEND TO EVRY ONE.

A good quality hotel at a reasonable price. 1min walk to BIC and less than 5min to the Pavilion. I have stayed here twice and have no complaints. This is my hotel of choice when attending these venues. Just be warned that they have a nightclub which is open some nights and this can be heard on the top floor.
