Beautiful resort, but the hospitality needs improvement I recently stayed at Iberotel Makadi Beach, and while the resort itself is stunning, there were a few experiences that left me disappointed. Pros: The environment is serene and well-kept. The beach was absolutely breathtaking — crystal clear water and soft sand made for a perfect escape. My room was phenomenal — clean, spacious, and very comfortable. It truly felt like a 5-star setup in terms of accommodations and scenery. Cons: The food was just average, especially considering this is supposed to be one of the top Jaz resorts. I expected better variety and quality. One major issue I encountered was the attitude of the staff. As someone from the Middle East, I felt there was a noticeable lack of warmth and hospitality extended toward me and others like me. The difference in how we were treated compared to European guests was very clear, and frankly, disheartening. The resort atmosphere is also extremely quiet and geared toward older guests. If you’re looking for fun or youthful energy, this may not be the right spot. Another major downside is the location — it’s quite isolated. If you want to explore or go anywhere, you’ll have to rely on taxis, and unfortunately, they tend to overcharge, especially when they know you’re a tourist. Great hotel stay for a vacation

Excellent clean and amazing service

Staff were excellent couldnt have been more helpful. Hotel very clean and modern. Food was first class loads of options to suit anyones taste.

Loved the beautiful gardens, the beach, the pools and the relaxed and calm atmosphere compared to other hotels in the resort, all adding up to a truly refreshing stay. The food was also fantastic quality, make sure you book at the Arabesque restaurant for a try highlight. Only one minor issue was the cheap wardrobe doors which banged and clashed with the drawers, minor things but stands out against the otherwise excellent quality of the room, maintained to the highest standard by Mohsan (master of the towel art!) and the team.Above everything though, this hotel is all about the staff: you will not find a happier, friendlier, eager-to-please and personable bunch anywhere. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay and are already planning our return trip

The staff is very friendly. The chef reacted nicely and quickly to have a specific meal. This is the number one destination in the Makadi area, in my opinion.

The hotel is kept very clean, and the area looks beautiful. The beach is well-taken care of, watersports (wind-surfing, kite-surfing, SUP, etc.) are available at the beach hotel (at extra price). As advertised, the hotel is very-well suited for families with children. We found it a bit strange that the swimming pool for children is not heated and the water that that pool is cold; so all children are in the heated pool by the bar. Also, it is not mentioned in the hotel description that the kids club only accepts children as from 3 years of age to stay without parents.

Once again Makadi Beach hotel was simply wonderful ❤️ High standards by all staff and excellent facilities in my view can’t get any better

We were welcomed by a very welcoming and friendly staff. They were really amazing. Food was the best for us, the varieties, quality and the taste. We enjoyed all our stay there. I will go back again and recommend it to all my friends. My only concern is that the room and the washer-room were old and needed to be renovated.

Great resort with great service. I really enjoyed the facilities (pool, pool table, restaurants). The beach is very crowded however. We did not enjoy that part so much. Its a but pricey for a stay. I would prefer going south and finding a more quiet resort.

Pool restaurant and Manger very nice gus food is great beach out of 10 I will give it 8 water is nice not shallow or deep. But there are some rocks need to be clean room is great house keeping is nice free landery but there like little stuff not make it perfect like it took almost 2 days to fix the TV the room on pool kind of noisy other than that the hotel is wonderful if there work on this little thing it will be one of the best hotels in hurghada

The resort is huge and feels really spacious. Lots of amenities to choose from whether it’s sports on the beach, tennis, spa or just relaxing. The staff are amazing, no request is too much and their focus is ensuring your needs are met and that you have an unforgettable experience. The rooms are clean and well stocked with provisions and the grounds and gardens are beautiful. I did not want to leave, it was magical and I will definitely be back.

I likes the stuff I didn’t like that they did provide me access to the aqua
