Wonderful day relaxing by pool in 39 degree heat. The spa was great too. Neighbouring restaurant is 5 stars

Hotel Minho is located near the River Minho which is a natural border between Portugal and Spain. In terms of getting there it is about 75 mins from Porto Airport and is just off the N13 between Valenca and Caminha. There is free parking when you arrive. Hotel Minho is a lovely modern looking hotel that has some great facilities including 2x outdoor pools, indoor pool, jacuzzi and sauna. As a hotel guest you will receive a complimentary towel to use during your stay. The Hotel service was excellent and nothing was too much trouble. The bedroom was fully air conditioned and the beds were very comfortable. Rooms were cleaned everyday and beds made which was great. The room also had a little fridge that you could use and they gave us a kettle so we had a nice cuupa each day (bought our own tea bags with us). There was free wifi around the hotel including the bedrooms which we used and it worked well. A lovely continental breakfast was served each morning from 7.30am - 10.30am and was well presented. The breakfast buffet included coffee, orange juice, fruit, yoghurt, cereals, selection of bread, cheese, ham, scrambled eggs and streaky bacon and a nice selection of pastries and cakes. In terms of activities there is lots to do locally, but you will need a car: Surfing (at Vila Praia de Ancora - Kaola Surf School) Kayaking in Tui Lots of very good Beaches Restaurants & Bars

very bad wifi some disfunctionalities in the spa area due to lack of experience of management and architect

Lack of electrical outlet for your laptop and an ottoman intended to be a desk chair. Hard to get any work done with a foot stool as a chair. Sits low and is hard on the back. Maybe nice for vacation folks but not good for business people.

We had such a nice time there that we had initially booked for 6 nights and ended up extending our stay! The hotel is new, the spa area is beautiful and relaxing and the front desk staff really made our stay even better. The rooms are not super spacious, but fits your needs (in our case, we could have used a bit more space as we have a child and therefore more suitcases, especially for a long stay). The room had a nice size verandah overlooking the pool and the bathroom was also quite pleasant. We´d go back there for sure!

Very Nice, extremely good staff but far from town and averything..

We staid one night whiel hiking the caminho portuguese and enjoyed Hamam and Pool. It is not close at the caminho, but we decided due to the Spa options. Hotel had Pool, Sauna, Hamam,... Breakfast had everything we needed. There is one Restaurant close by, which even belongs to the Hotel, but less other options. Staff was very friendly and supported with different problems.

La amabilidad del personal y el desayuno

Séjour très agréable avec bonne piscine et spa inclus. Chambres agréables pas très grandes mais la literie est un peu ferme. L'hotel est dans un environnement avec nature à proximité. Nous avons utilisé les 3 vélos disponibles et balade le long du fleuve. Le restaurant sur site est un peu cher mais très bon.

Foram dias muito bem passados, com excelente serviço, bom pequeno-almoço, instalações novas, bem cuidadas e limpas. Sensíveis aos alertas de melhoras, com prontas diligências para superar a situação.

Hotel cómodo, limpio, buen servicio y óptima relación calidad-precio. Desayuno y servicio de café-bar excelente. Entorno natural. Ideal para ir con niños y adaptado a minusválidos. Lo que no me gustó es que en el spa no pude realizar ningún tratamiento, no había hueco a pesar de que había pocos huéspedes. También en el spa se notaba muchísimo el cloro en el ambiente.

Personal de recepción muy colaborador y agradable. Tuvimos un problema de limpieza con la habitación que nos dieron, pero nos cambiaron rápidamente a otra.

hôtel moderne, très bien équipé, chambre correcte, un peu bruyante coté rue, manque bouilloire avec café et thé dans la chambre ce serait un plus ! petit dej très bien ! question restauration: pas de resto dans l'hôtel, mais indication d'un à coté mais cher ! spa correct ! personnel neutre …à l'image de l'hôtel ! un peu plus chaleureux svp ! .
