This hotel was the highlight of our trip in Normandy. It was so quaint and had so much character. Everyone was very nice and the scenery felt like a dream!

Very nice hotel, with modern interior. Breakfast is great, especially we liked tableware.

Beautiful old property. Lovely views of sunset over the bay from terrace. Very comfortable bed. A lot of stairs to climb to our room and no handrails. Also steep climb up to hotel.

Pleasant property. However, handball party created incredible parking difficulties and stress. Some staff helpful but others uncaring. Brochure mentions “Gouter” 16h to 17:30. Not mentioned when we checked in at 15:45. Bar service was slow. Party seemed to take priority over Normal hotel guests. Not the wedding anniversary stay we had expected.

Loved our stay. The staff was so friendly, the grounds were stunning and the view was heavenly. Although a very short stay we thoroughly enjoyed it! Highly suggest room 8 in the tower

The most incredible oasis with views to die for. They have a communal lounge, afternoon tea and a house cat!

The hotel is great - the decor is amazing. Overall, a great stay - but there is no air conditioning (so either you open the windows and get attacked by mosquitoes or you bake). The breakfast was a little disappointing if you are Gluten Free. Of the circa 6 cakes, couldn't one have been made without gluten? Although the GF bread was appreciated!

Located on a small cliff top is a beautiful fortress like hotel with good view of the valley and the sea. Stayed for a night and enjoyed massage spa and Michelin star rated restaurant dinner with my wife. Must stay place if looking to spend a romantic evening and night in western / norther France around Etretat area.

I really enjoyed the atmosphere of the hotel and the amenities offered. The employees of Le Donjon were very helpful during my stay as well.

Gorgeous property and accommodation with friendly staff.

The hotel is really nice and friendly courteous staff. The one thing to know is that it is an old building and the room that we had while spacious was not so practical as you had to duck to avoid your head hitting the roof and had to really bend down to go from room to the bath. Kind of awkward and not something you remember in the middle of the night.

the only problem that we should cary our luggage to the third floor.
