We had a wonderful stay at the Grand Hotel Bastiani in Grosseto. The hotel is beautifully maintained and perfectly located in the historic center, making it ideal for exploring the city on foot. From the moment we arrived, the staff was welcoming, professional, and always ready to help with recommendations or any needs we had. The room was very clean, comfortable, and elegant, offering a peaceful atmosphere after a day of sightseeing. Breakfast was excellent, with fresh and high-quality options, and the overall ambiance of the hotel felt both classic and warm. This hotel truly enhanced our experience in Grosseto. We would absolutely stay here again and highly recommend it to anyone looking for comfort, great service, and a prime location.

Extremely reasonable prices (and they gave me an upgrade without having to ask), clean, excellent location in historic city center close to stores and boutiques. Convenient pay parking a block away.

Great bed. Great air conditioning. Great bathtub and shower. Very good location , near museums and restaurants. A twelve minute walk to the train station. Breakfast was good.

The hotel overall is beautiful. It's in a 1910 historical building in Renaissance revival style, with many of the original finishes. Some of the technology are outdated, but it was part of the charm. Everything was great, but I would recommend investing in the larger rooms.

Cannot ask for anything more. The owner and staff were courteous, friendly and helpful. This was a week trip and it was the best value for all of the hotels on our trip. If in the area again we would stay stay here.

Loved the fact it was still in mint condition, staff was excellent and hotel in the center of all restaurants and attractions. Easy to commute weather on foot or public transportation. Will definitely stay again if ever in Grosseto.

Reception was friendly and very welcoming. We were upgraded (free) from a budget room to a standard one which was a nice touch and very much appreciated. The hotel decor is dated, but it’s clean and it’s location is central - very close to the Duomo. The room had air conditioning and there was a tiny terrace on the 4th floor with 2 plastic tables & chairs, disappointingly this had no view and seemed to be used only by smokers. It seems a shame that they haven’t inserted a window or two from which to admire the view and opened a small cafe/bar up there!

This hotel is in a superb location just steps from centro and inside the city wall but steps to outside shops and restaurants. The hotel is in extremely good condition
