Hotel Boston is very close to everything and the staff were very nice and professional. And the breakfast was fresh and delicious.

Ideal spot in Stresa. Beautiful view and wonderful balcony. Very nice staff. We appreciated the onsite parking. Avoid Isola Bella and enjoy a boat ride instead!

Absolutely lovely experience.

Room was clean. The front desk person when we arrived was very disengaged and just gave us the key and told us are room was available and where to go with no other interaction, but later other clerks were helpful with maps and directions, breakfast hours and location, etc. Breakfast was good the first day when we were there when it started the second day we went an hour after opening and many items were empty . The staff were trying to refresh and refill items but we didn't have the time to wait for some items. Go early. Our lake view was only a small opening (about 5-10 degrees) between two buildings in the distance as were all other balcony rooms at this hotel.

Very old hotel with rooms that were incredibly small and did not match the expectations we had after seeing the pictures. Upon check-in, we weren't given a wifi passcode or informed that breakfast was included with our room. Checkout was at 11am, and by 11:05am, the receptionist was knocking vigorously on our door, rudely telling us we had to leave immediately. For the record, everything was already packed, we just needed to close our suitcase. I wouldn’t recommend this hotel

Air condition didn't work. Had to get housekeeping to clean my room again when I check in...Other than that, great location and staff were helpful.

All was great, especially the staff who were very helpful and friendly. Only minor problem was mold on the ceiling of the bathroom. We would stay there again.

Central Hotel near lake, station and town. Friendly and helpful staff. Clean but basic rooms. Would benefit from fridge/safe.

This was not a waterfront hotel and certainly not worth what we paid. The breakfast coffee tasted like mud. The toilet was almost touching the bidet head to head so a struggle to use the toilet. The shower looked awful and difficult to use and put me off using it. The rest of the hotel was nice but not our room. No supermarkets around to buy water. The hotel charges 4 euros for water. The proximity to the lake and train station was excellent.

Only there for one night and we were in a section of the hotel that seemed brand new. Very nice, clean and tidy and comfortable. We left early the next day so that's all I know.

The outstanding feature of our stay was the brilliant help and support of the staff, who helped us organise an airport bus when an unexpected train strike was on. We were so grateful and impressed.

We really enjoyed our 4 night stay, the hotel is perfectly located, the staff are really friendly and helpful, we had a lake view room, could not fault it - would recommend.

A lot of noice Not very clean

Check in was fast, i wanted a meal and tge reception recommended a restaurant not far away which was excellent. Room was fine and breakfast was of a goid standard with a great choice. I would stay here again.

Well we are on a 6 week tour on our motorcycle and we chose our hotels as we go from place to place. We were in Brig Switzerland when we chose the Hotel Boston Stresa what a great find this was the place is really nicely decorated very clean and bright. The staff are very helpful and nothing seems to much trouble if you need something. The bedrooms are well appointed and of a good size with balconies. We didn't have breakfast here as we are retired and to be honest we don't normally get up until 9-30 ISH so we normally eat around 11am. The hotel has underground parking which for us was great as we are touring on our motorcycle it costs 8 euros a day and it's safe and secure. The hotel is 2 mins walk from the lake front of Maggiore and 10 mins walk into the main shopping and eating areas. You can get ferries to the islands on the lake and there are plenty of places to eat out lakeside. The hotel is also only 10 mins walk from the railway station and a Conad Supermarket so all in all this is a great place to stay.We will recommend this to our friends and family if they come to Italy. We had a great time here and would certainly stay here again if coming to Maggiore.
