Room temperature cannot be controlled, the room was too hot and uncomfortable, we did not get proper sleep the whole time we were there. Cleanliness could be improved as the room was dusty. The staff are friendly and warm.

Great location on pretty Plaza Santa Ana. Very helpful and friendly staff. Upgraded to a duplex room which was lovely. Definitely would stay again.

Everything was perfect

We had a great stay at Room Mate Alicia. The best thing about this hotel is the location. From here you can easily walk to all the major tourist attractions of central Madrid. There is an endless supply of restaurants and bars within easy walking distance. The room was clean and comfortable and the breakfast selection was very good. I would highly recommend staying here.

Nice room in a great location

Everything was wonderful and the staff and room were amazing! We had a great trip and I enjoyed walking the pages of the book I was reading at the time, A Bookseller in Madrid, as everything we needed was within easy walking distance. No steep hills but it is cobblestones so if you aren't sure on your feet or new to Europe you should know that part.

The property was undergoing some work in the lobby. I was shocked when I walked in and feared the worst, but honestly, the staff was wonderfully accommodating, and I didn't find the work disruptive in any way. The staff was vigilant about checking in with me to ensure I was comfortable throughout my stay. I'd definitely visit again. Great property.

The staff member at checkin was so welcoming and provided us with great info, particularly his recommendation of Casa Alberto which was wonderful. It's a great location in terms of walking to places of interest altho there was a fair bit of construction & roadworks going on when we visited & it's quite noisy at night but it's Madrid! Bed & pillows were beautifully comfy and overall design is clean & funky. Some people may find the bathroom challenging as it's not fully seperate within room. We loved it tho. Will visit again.

The place was a little sketchy, and the walls were pretty thin to the point where I felt like I was in the room with the people next to me. The staff was super kind though and the area around the property was nice and a good location. Probably wouldn’t stay again though.

A short city break with family. A beautiful city and the hotel was ideally located where everything we wanted to see and visit was in walk-in distance. Friendly, welcoming and efficient staff. Lovely comfortable room. Highly recommended.
