We stayed for two nights to relax and recharge prior to a large family gathering. Casa Velas was perfect for our purpose. I wouldn't change anything.

Most everything was great!

This was our third trip to Casa Velas. We thought it couldn't get any better and then we saw the new breakfast menu and wine list. So glad to have some lighter options for breakfast, and the new wines are excellent. Of course it’s the staff that always makes us want to keep coming back. Notably, Camila, Gerardo, and Omar at breakfast; Enrique, Carlos, and Antonio at Tao; Avaldo and Ramon at the Aqua Bar; and Daniel, Gerardo, Rigo, Rosacio at dinner. We’re already planning our next trip back! Not a complaint, but the only thing we’d like to see different is if Casa Velas would offer the build-your-own pasta dish offered for dinner, as it’s currently only on the lunch menu. The lunch menu at Emiliano's is so great, but we usually find ourselves at Tao or Aqua Bar...

Great place. Excelent service at the pool Avalos was an excellent waiter made me feel like a King. Avir all great. Restaurant may need a little improvement in service and taste. Over all great.

I booked for 4 days at this great place. I went for a relaxation trip and it was a great choice for it. It was down season so there were not many fellow tourists around. The service was amazing and I felt like I was treated much like a family member of their staff. Omar at the restaurant was so personable, kind and just an overall great person. He provided some of the best service in a restaurant I have ever received. From all staff on site they had exceptional customer service and kindness I loved the room and outside patio / dip pool where I could relax at my own will. The main pool was also great.

We’ve stayed at this resort 10 times. It’s perfect every time. It’s beautiful and quiet with amazing service and delicious food. We can’t wait to return again.

This was my first trip to Puerto Vallarta and my stay at Casa Velas was amazing. The staff are so kind and attentive and the food was amazing!!! Loved having access to the beach even though the hotel isn’t right on the beach. I would definitely stay again!

The people were amazing and extremely attentive to our every need. Everyone was kind and helpful, they treated us like family. The property itself is gorgeous. The architecture, the plant life, and the animal life made the location a perfect place to relax and take in the beauty and nature. We are definitely returning for a third time.
