Limited aircon and almost no natural light. Tiny balcony with no room for our group to sit outside. Very disappointing.

We had a very nice stay, the room were clean and spacious with a nice terrace

The drive to get there was too far out of the way from Rovinj for us as we stayed only one night. The buffet dinner was nearly over by the time we got there and looked very unappetizing We walked to town instead on a nice paved path, though, and found a mediocre place to eat. Wouldn't stay there again.

The hotel sets the lower limit of the temperature of the air conditioning at 22 degrees C. I found that temperature too warm to sleep, so I checked out after one night. Also whenever the AC unit came on, it made a loud rattling sound, which made it difficult for me to sleep.

Brilliant to be right on the beach, very beautiful and clean and the half board meals were great. Drinks and hiring of the loungers were expensive, but a lovely location with good trips close by .

Ive stayed at at my fair share of hotels and resorts, but Ive got to say my husband and I were pleasantly surprised with how wonderful our Petalon resort experience was. The room was clean and modern, the staff were super friendly and helpful, the view from the room was spectacular, the breakfast buffet was vast and had options for all tastes, and the swimming was great. The hotel bar and restaurant has a lot of great options for food, and for people who dont like swimming in the sea, the pool was spacious and clean. The hotel is close to lots of neighboring historic towns too, so the location was ideal. Overall, we had a wonderful experience and will definitely plan on staying there next time we make it back.

This hotel was advertised as a 4 star accommodation. However I could only describe the hotl and the experience as overprecied Butlin type holiday. The resort was overcrowded with only one pool that was not kept with the condition advertised. The meals were cheap cafeteria type food. I think the problem was that it both served the camps and the hotels. There was no wifi only at the reception and the cafeteria and was not free. All the sunbeds and parasols were charged for. The whole holiday was hugely overpriced.

The Petalon resort is a different experience for many Western travelers. It is an older style, central European environment and most guests were from Germany or Austria. The hotel is set on a hill from the seaside town of Vsar and each room is in a small grouping of "villa" style buildings spread throughout the resort. Rooms were spacious, clean, and relatively modern, but does not have the amenities of many Western style acommodations. Small balconies looked out over a cove of the Adriatic and was a beautiful sight each morning. Hotel staff spoke sufficient English to be helpful. A pleasant and different experience

Totally loved this place. Stayed two night and wished we would have stayed a whole week. The apartments were very roomy and well furnished. Its also right on the water which is a great area for snorkeling and diving. The free breakfast was also first class. Because we went during the late off season, it wasn't crowded at all and was quite comfortable. The only down side was that our shower head broke during our stay and there was a problem with ants at the door way. The hotel staff gave us some bug spray and that solved the bug problem. Overall, a wonderful experience that I would highly recommend.

Personal sehr freundlich und zuvorkommend. Resort schön und gepflegt. Supermarkt, Bäcker, Obst- und Gemüsestand vorhanden. Strand sauber und die Liegen/Schirme für Gäste, mit 50% Rabatt, leistbar. Preis-Leistungsverhältnis was die Appartements betrifft angemessen. Restaurant unverschämt überteuert. Sehr kleine Mengen zu hohen Preisen. Beim Check-in wurden wir unserer Meinung nach abgezockt. Dafür konnte aber das dortige Personal nichts. War eine Entscheidung der Chefin im Backoffice. Zur Erklärung: Wir hatten einen seit einer Woche an den Hinterpfoten gelähmten, 3 kg Hund dabei. Dieser wurde nur getragen und fuhr in seinem Buggy. Konnte weder das Zimmer noch die Anlage betreten. Wir hätten es uns auch anders gewünscht! Für ihn haben wir (20€ am Tag) zahlen müssen. Traurig!

Schöne Unterkunft, , das Zimmer war prima und wurde regelmäßig sauber gemacht, vom Balkon toller Blick auf's Meer. Die Halbpension war sehr abwechslungsreich und es hat gut geschmeckt, Alles in Allem sehr gelungen u.empfehlenswert auch für längere Aufenthalte. Die freundlichen Mitarbeiter in allen Bereichen haben uns sehr gefallen. Wir kommen gerne wieder.

Das Essen war sehr gut.Es war eigentlich ganz schön, nur im Bad hat es von der Decke getröpfelt.Wir mussten die ganze zeit einen Kübel am Waschbecken unterstellen.Denn Schaden haben wir gemeldet wurde auch gleich begutachtet aber wurde nicht beseitigt.Das war eigentlich das einzigste was mir an diesem Urlaub nicht gefallen hat.

Way to crowded - you cannot enjoy the pool and cleaning is not cleaning just change of towels. If you like spending time at the pool - choose another place. It is way to small for all the people using it. To enjoy the private Beach to the resort you have to pay 24€ for 2 sunbeds and umbrella pr day. Not okay when you paid for the resort. Walking distance to the town and restaurants.

Das Hotel überzeugt mit einem guten Preis-/Leistungsniveau und einem schönen Blick auf das Meer. Die Zimmer sind etwas in die Jahre gekommen und eine Entkalkung der Armaturen im Bad wäre dringend nötig.

Gut Lage und clever gelöst mit den Reihenhäuschen, damit es kein massives Hotel ist. Kaum Autoverkehr und man geht zum Essen oder an den Strand gemütlich spazieren. Leider waren die Getränkepreise beim Abendessen und die Liegen (Pool: 6€, Strand 8€) ziemlich happig.
